if u wanna nag about server queue i made a rant post about it. this post is meant for sth else
Whoops, sorry! Got carried away with my frustration about the server problems.
Luckily, I don't play PvP, hence there will be no complaining about PvP from me, but I am a bit worried that all those announced AoE-related changes/nerfs eventually will get into PvE, which would be sad.
no need to apologize man.. i dont think it will impact pve. It states only tests for cyrodiil so no need to worry

That’s all well and good. Just seems that players are having to do all the sacrificing and changing to accommodate a company that will not put more funds into upgrading performance. We know performance can be better when extra resources are allocated. I guess the profit margin isn’t quite high enough.terrannova wrote: »Why do u guys have to be negative about everything?
I have been playing mostly cp cyrodiil (have 2k hours played). I have taken many breaks from the game (the last one was over 1 year) ,only cause the performance in cyrodiil is the worst thing i have experienced in any game i've played.Okay maybe battlefiled 4 was simillar when it launched. If u see my posts in my profile u will get what im troubled with this game.
But if any of u guys have played cyrodiil for long enough u should have the intelligence to know and to sense that, whenever a zerg or a ball group call it however u want, is in the server everything is going downwards.
I will never forget a fight in VIVEC EU, around 2.5 hours siege in roebeck. AD defending against DC AND EP at the same time. Of course it was laggy ,but it was the exact kind of lag like at a time of just high pop on all factions and a medium size zerg roaming around. Which means a medium sized zerg lagged the whole high poped server...
Zergs need to be handled somehow. So let them try stuff ,cause something needs to be done about performance. Because i think that spamming the whole forum with "dont do this " and "dont u dare try that cause i will cancel my eso+" doesnt help. Specifically posts that people keep whining about changes without any specific context or reason.
I cant believe im actually siding with ZOS this time
have a great day

I can think of many legitimate and justifiable reasons for people to complain about ESO.
Let's see -
absolutely atrocious performance and server stability.
Awful exploitation of the crown store microtransactions, price gouging player houses that still are purely cosmetic without any functionaility
Continued poor class balancing and further display ZoS doesn't understand what's best for their own game
Increasingly neglectful towards the feedback and ideas of their own players
Is that enough OP or shall I continue ?
Do you want to know what isn't a good reason to complain against?
Making a forum thread complaining about other people complaining. As if your opinion holds any value over someone else's let alone thinking that anything remotely beneficial or constructive would come about from it.
Just like your baiting thread people have a right to complain. The changes were not thought out and cant be tested properly without overhauling many of the class skills. How is a templar, dk, or, warden supposed to do the test if it blocks them from using the majority of their skills?
Of course you will see a performance increase if 3 of the classes are forced to log off because they can’t use their skills. Personally I’d have no problem if they removed aoe’s entirely, but again that requires changing class skills.
I appreciate how they are trying to find solutions, but the fact that a group of people sat in a room and agreed with these changes with absolutely no thought on how it affects certain classes just shows how out of touch they are with their game and how it works.

On the other hand, we've had several recentish updates that swung balance in one direction, have player feedback warning the Devs about problems beforehand, the updates go Live with the predicted problems, and then ZOS reverses courses due to those problems the next update.
Players are right to worry that testing won't take player feedback into account...and that the players will be proven correct in the end.
