Said Duke of Daggerfall after being tripped up in that dungeon for more than 30 mins.

The quest's named 'Culling the Serpents', where you're required to find 7 scattered nests with no indicator.
Or you can share it with your friends to prank them. :D

These are not too hard to find. They are piles of blue "eggs" with a quest marker hovering over them. The marker does not appear on the map, only the area, but these can be seen from half way across the marked area.

Basically the only way to do that quest is to go in and kill everything. Eventually you'll find the nests. I suppose it's good if you have a character you need to level at the moment, but it is a really annoying quest.

I did this yesterday with no problem and about to hand it just now

I played it smart this time, did all 3 dailies but will hand one in every 3 days that way I'm not wasting my time

Not being in summerset for years now still perfectly remembered most spots, it's couple of minutes if more-less aware of your surrounding.
Would call more annoying that quest where you need to loot couple of "chests" along with some mob drops as that "chests" are not only for you like in most other daily quests, could take some time especially with people around waiting for you to engage combat and then running for it.

I'm used to the well-designed beautiful simplicity of Bolgrul's undaunted daily delves which spoils me against the generally irritatingly and confused DLC daily delve quests.

I'm finding for the Summerset event that a daily WB is the most enjoyable and quickest daily. Grab a WB daily, go to the site, wait a few minutes with a dozen other randoms, kill the boss with plenty of help, profit. :)

This is one of the easier quests, as the eggs are easy to see and anyone can use them

I've forgotten where all the remains are in King's Haven Pass. Three are up near the gryphon boss (I found those quickly), one is right near a delve entrance (that one took me embarrassingly long to find), and I'm blanking on the fifth.

But isn’t it funny how much we DO remember when it comes to things like this we did a year ago? And I can still remember playing the first Tomb Raider so clearly just liike all those ruins and dungeons were real places, but sometimes I can’t remember where I parked my car 🤣

There's at least one pile of eggs that's easy to miss, located near the big cluster of eggs but down over the ledge, which you can see the pointer for through the rocks. You can climb down to it, then climb back up to the cluster. And there are a couple more that are way off from the others, near the water. Once you've done the quest a time or two, it's easy to destroy them all.

@FrancisCrawford go up the path on the right from the entrance there's a couple of welwa and a grp of mobs.......

At top of path on the left drop down to a small ledge that is where your missing remains are 😀

Entrance from Illumination Academy, where the first part is.
Edit: take the first part near the entrance, then ride up (to the right from entrance) to the waterfall, and on the cliff is the second. Jump down to the cave entrance (or try cross the bridge by the rope, I have seen it once, but it is too time consuming for me).

OP, you may be missing the ones along the wall beyond where you find the Augur of the Obscure.

This quest can be done in a group and if multiple people loot the same remains, it counts multiple times.

I actually find it boring when you are constantly told exactly where to go. Quest markers.... gamers are spoiled now a days. lol

I do find it refreshing that at least sometime you are just directed to a general area. Its a gentle immersion.

The summer set dailies to avoid are the ones where the thing you have to find goes away when someone else loots it. Rose of archer on and the sagiation one. That is total bs. Phone post. So is wonky.

    Game: "search for X"
Also game: shows marker at the exact location of a thing we are supposed to be looking for

I miss Morrowind directions. "To get to Punabi, I should go south from Balmora and take the road east past Fort Moonmoth. I should cross the bridge northeast of the Fort and continue east until I reach the lake. The old Dunmer stronghold of Marandas is just south of the lake. Punabi is on the trail that leads northeast from the lake."

    Exactly!

Or at least give us unique ways to find XYZ. Psijic Order quest line, for example, directs you to a general area, and sometimes gave you an audio queue. Antiquities, when scrying, does the same, and then points you in a general direction with a magical device.

There was one quest...... in grahtwood maybe? Something with a maze? Its wasnt very maze-y lol, but there was some wonderful visual effects of ethereal text floating around, guiding you.

Theres so many ways to replace a quest marker, without being quite so... involved. I know its not everyones cup of tea, "roughin" it and having to use directions and a map lol.

But anyhow... like most things in ESO, you very quickly memorize key areas, like mat nodes, or where to find the eggs/corrupted corral reef/etc.

That bridge in King's Haven Pass amirite. I had only done that place once before and completely forgot the bridge is a troll. It took me a worrying amount of time to accept that I couldn't puzzle jump my way across. When I got up to the gryphon nest, I stood on the cliff and watched other people trying to jump the bridge.

as another person pointed out, the two dailies that actualy suck are the rose of archon and the relics you get from coffers. because those are not shared - so it can take a while to gather enough spawns when you are competing with a bunch of other people for them. eggs? are shared, so its nice and quick and easy and you certainly do NOT need to kill everything.

I think that at least the Roses quest now has instanced roses. I did it on the first day and another player and I got to a rose exactly at the same time. I suspect we both got it. (I'm usually the one with empty hands at nodes even when I can see my char reaching for it before other players come by)

Some quest markers appears on screen as you approach the target inside the search zone.

they are absolutely 100% NOT instance. cause someone just ran up to a rose that I was fighting mobs next to, looted it and guess what.. while I'm still fighting mobs, the rose... disappears.
