Its eyes no longer glow when rare spawns are out. I and others had it up and were just barely out of aggro range of Bloodfiends and nada. They are the biting NPCs, they bit one of my guys.

Ok so August 18th and this goats eyes STILL do not glow red anymore at all much less when the biting NPCs are out. Since this thing cost real cash via the crown store a fix would be nice.

In one of recent patches developers "fixed" glowing eyes of useful pets such as this goat, Dire Pony and Daemon Cockerel. They didn't give any exlanation for their reasons I loved when these pets had glowing eyes, it was very cool.

they need to fix it back. This goats eyes are suppose to glow red when the Werewolf and Vampire biting NPCs are out, that is its whole purpose. That is the reason many of us bought it. Them removing that functionality is not acceptable. If it's going to stay this way then they can have it back and I want the crowns I wasted on it returned.

I agree! It's absolutely not nice to change pets (or any cosmetics) like this. Removal of "glowing pet eyes" couldn't even be an excuse for improving server performance; many other pets still have permanently glowing eyes, and lot of other intensive special effects.
Also, it was "stealth change" - they only said in patch notes that there will be some changes in non-combat pet behavior.

I didn't have Goat or Pony, so I bought the Daemon Cockerel mostly for this "glowing eyes" feature, back when it was in store. I also think about asking for refund nowadays, but I kind of like this pet model However, if I didn't have this pet already, and it was now in store - I wouldn't buy it.

I just put in a ticket telling them to retrieve their now worthless goat and refund my crowns.

I've been wondering why I haven't seen the glowing eyes for a month or so now.

If this has really been "patched out", that's pretty weak.

The whole point of the goat was the randomly glowing eyes - now I just have a pointless farm animal following me around, instead of a Daedric-infused curiosity.

During previous Halloween, when Hollowjack crates returned, I've bought Daemon Cockerel from them. This pet was worth using back then, looking very cool during Bloodfiend nights:



And just two days ago I was browsing through my collection to find a pet to perfectly match my glowing red-eyed mount... There is no such pet anymore

Do the Dev's just randomly re-claim pets? That doesn't sound right!

@Fischblut I've just checked, I still have the Daemon Cockerel, I think they changed the categories recently, maybe that's how you mislaid yours

Developers simply took away the cool feature of Daemon Cockerel, Sanguine's Black Goat, and (safe to assume) Dire Pony These three pets were the only pets with unique feature (eyes glowing red during nights when Bloodfiends spawn).

They need to revert this or give us the option to return these pets and get our crowns back. This is bogus ZOS.

I think I remember reading that ZOS did fix the glowing eyes, but, they said the glow is now for different reasons. Very cryptic.

That's so rude. I counted on my cockerel being my alarm clock for when it was night out if I was in delves/dungeons/housing.

Agreed. Changes like this without any indication as of why is pretty much why I have trust issues with ZoS anymore. So much for transparency.

I haven't seen their eyes glow at all anymore. I kept the goat out on one of my guys for weeks, nada.

There was an acknowledgment and indication of a fix in this coming update here:

This was not fixed with the Cockerel fix last patch.

Just now I was bitten in Reaper’s March and infected with Sanies Lupinus. I can confirm my goat’s eyes were not glowing at all during this time.

I did not pay for a (digital license to a) normal goat. I paid for a goat whose eyes glow when werewolves and bloodfiends are up. Changing crown store items after the fact is not ok.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Please help. We have not received any acknowledgment of this bug, to the best of my knowledge.
