Login sorta looked like it was working, got a loading screen .... then "Unable to connect to game server".

I've gotten Login timeouts, Error 304, and when logging out of a toon it counts down to 0 seconds and then takes 5+minutes to log out but doesn't go to charater select, but rather to "Error Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection.

So I couldn't seem to get a response from several Guild Stores. But everything else seemed to work. Figuring it was me I logged out. Well I can't get back.

But sometimes just sitting at the loading screen, doing nothing, suddenly it will start acting like it's loading (even though I haven't put my password in recently) and then jump to an error that says:

Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection.

If I try to login after that I get a Login Timed Out message. But the sudden load screen and unable to connect to game server makes me think the login server is being rebooted or something. No reason it would change without me putting in my password yet again.

So after the load screen eventually ended and I found myself at my destination, everything looks very low res for some reason. I haven't changed my settings at all

Finished playing a couple hours ago. Saw this thread and tried logging in just now. 'Requesting Login. . . ', for a couple minutes then got a timed out message.

I was switching characters, couldn't log out so force quit. Have been able to log back into the character screen... It's VERY slow.

Hitting the Vivec City loading screen right now.

Edit: I made it back in.

@pat_augustine Ha! That is exactly what happened to me. Trying to talk to a guild store trader, refused to open store, so I tried to relog. /sigh

I also got the beautiful "Error 304: This Account is already logged in" mixed with the all time favorite "Login Error: Login Timeout"

Taking 2-3 minutes to zone from one area to the next (loading screen is stuck), taking 1-2 minutes for bank to load items....feels like mucking through a swamp

Wow, I logged out just then and destroyed the server, I guess. I got a loadscreen and had to alt-tab out!

No error but when I did get in nothing worked. Guild traders for example, nothing would load, no items to buy.

I timed out the first time I tried to log in at about 5:50 eastern. At around 6:10 I was able to log in after ridiculously long load times.

Not really. Been about 20min for me. non-steam. pc/na. it tells me login timed out. then i have to wait to try to log in because it's busy. THEN I get from "login requested" to ALMOST a character selection screen, then back to desktop with a 'must have valid server connection' THEN an Error 304: Account already logged in.... rinse, repeat. I have just now made it ALL the way to character select but have been sitting at 'Requesting Character Load....' for a few minutes now. Fully expecting it to crash back out. multiple people reporting the same across my various guilds.
