    The loading screens are much longer after the recent maintenance, especially the requesting character load.

    I took this as a "sign". I've played over 4800 hours, spend way more money than I'd ever admit and considered quitting way too many times (especially when the lag was bad or I couldn't log in). So I logged in after the fix, filled the guild banks and quit my guilds. I did per-purchase Greymore but I just don't care anymore.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno The requesting character load is taking a very long time to complete if compared to the time before the maintenance.
    It is uncomfortable to login or switch chars because of this.
    Please investigate and fix it.

    Lol PS4 didn't have maintenance and it's still broken. What kind of mess will it be when it is.

    As you'll see it is showing all servers online, which we know isn't true.

    Im on VM and got dc'd and couldnt get back on until just now.

    EDIT: I still can't connect to Steam but don't need that for ESO.

    i am on virgin too but i get disconnected then get error 200 and 201 all time with no news loaded. to get back in to game i have to shut down the game the client and wait about 15 mins each time till you can connect back to eso laucher to login as it says client patmanifest download error. but everything else connected to internet works just eso and eso forums i cannot connect too. this has happened about 4 times in last hour and half so mostly been trying to login with maybe 15 mins in game in 1.5 hours

    So no word about what broke it or whether they're extending the sub trial? That's 6 hours lost play time with plus perks because their maintenance and eff up.

    Something is definitely borked. I keep getting tossed out, and everything else is working fine with my internet and every other online game, only ESO is acting this way, ergo the mess is on their end. Xbox NA.

    Those times that I could not connect to either ESO or Steam I could connect to Youtube, facebook etc. Presumably they are connecting via a different route. It is possible the problem is at ESo's end but unless you are sat outside their server building with a direct connection there are plenty of hops where there could be an interruption that is totally outside their control.

    The fact you can connect to other games and websites is irrelevant unless those websites and games share the same connection.

    The one day BT doesn't go down for me is the one day they're supposedly having problems. :lol:
