    Was a national holiday here today, so I thought, nice day to play ESO since we have to stay inside. Could have expected that things would go awry at ZOS, though

    Just to note, I can't login. I get the following pop-up box:

    Login Error.

    Login failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. If you purchased the game through Steam, please start the game via the Steam client to login.

    [F] View Account [ALT] Exit


    If I can supply any information regarding my account that will help resolve this problem, please send me email and I will try to help.

    I can't imagine I have the incorrect username or password. When I try to login to my account on the web server, login also fails. The Google Chrome password manager is automatically filling in the username and password, as it always does.

    I can't imagine the problem being related to the ESO free account week. I've had my account, with ESO+, for multiple years. My account should be active.

    I did not purchase the game through Steam. I do not use Steam.

    I know there is a free ESO+ week promotion going on. I can't imagine the problem being related to the free ESO+ promotion. I have ESO+ on the yearly plan. My ESO+ yearly membership expires in May. I have automatic renewal enabled.

    It will be nice to have an ETA for the fix, like "an hour" or something similar.

    Just be happy if it doesn't turn into the desync and lag of update 25 to where you just get a "We still are working on it" for 2 months followed by a month of nothing.

    Ok ZOS, what did you do now?
    As soon as EU PC came live again I couldnt log in to the PTS, Live server or the ESO website and I'm not the only one with this problem?
    Like how can you break yet another thing in this game, its getting frustrating to the point its silly how you manage to break your game everytime you touch it

    Glad I saw this forum I'm trying to login now to PC NA and cannot lol 😅

    Pretty sure they won't be so foolish as to give an estimated time.

    Even though they'd make it clear it was an estimate, even though they would specify issues could take longer than X, they would still catch all kinds of happy comments/rants from people, moving rapidly on to threatening lawsuits and demanding compensation. The amount of complaints and demands will probably be the same in either case, but if the community managers don't post about it, their names won't be used in vain, just the general "ZOS sucks" type of thing.

    Thank you. Guess I should go enjoy the nice weather outside and take a little walk...while maintaining social distancing, of course!

    And folks, do not burn Gina if we get to an hour and it's not fixed. This is probably one of the first times we had both the PC NA, PC EU, and the website go down all at once, so this is likely an issue that is very complicated, made even more troublesome because Zeni employees cannot be in the office/datacenter physically to fix it due to our ongoing public health crisis.
    If you can't handle the heat...stay out of the kitchen!

    Think this is the case, now they're drastically trying to find a backup or a recovery of some sorts somewhere, thats why we don't get an update, thats why there is no ETA. this is the first time that we had server issues but also issues logging into the website itself.

    I've become completely addicted to Britbox thru Amazon prime. So much so that I'm going to go with basic cable and get the Acorn sub too. Save myself a bunch of money!
