As we know, animation cancelling via blocking was changed this patch. This post is not about that.
Many guild members and myself have noticed frequent and consistently delayed abilities and lag when breaking free. Neither was supposed to be changed with the patch. Can we get some information on this?

Yeah not sure how people have fun and continue to play. I'd love to resume playing but its pointless and unhealthy for me atm. Nothing like bursting someone down only to have the game pump the breaks on me finishing them off.

Laatvulon on Xbox NA. Skills fire pretty good there, even in prime time. Of course, that campaign doesn't attract the same number of skill spamming ball groups as Kaal. Not finger pointing, but.....

Actually it has to do with the block change. Animation takes priority, all skills are normally instant. This means eventually these long animations can't keep up with the amount of skills going off causing some skills to not cast, or get major delays while the server catches up.
Ironic right? Fixing this was suppose to help client to server relation, it just made it slightly worse.

There are pvp players, who still don't crash, are able to do their rotation, don't obviously have any lag, do alot of burst damage in one second. Maybe this is just one more puzzle, you need to learn the pig holes and take advantage of all the bugs.

I don't know a single PVPer who doesn't complain about lag.

This actually gives me great hope that a lot of this is a serious failure of the server and not a design direction but it almost certainly is being made far worse by whatever they tweaked, to the point of breaking it for some people

Let’s see what it looks like next week. Patch week is always laggy, and this is the largest patch the game has ever had.
