In regards to it being 250 ulti, do you gain ultimate while transformed?

You cannot gain ultimate in the form.

I don't think ult gen is gonna be a problem for Necro tanks using things like Bone Armor and/or other Necro skills that create corpses plus Necrotic Potency. Necrotic Potency give you 6 ult initially plus 6 more for every additional corpse you consume. A bulky tank will likely easily be able to spam Minor Heroism and Bone Armor/Potency to rack up ult fairly quickly.

Faught a premade full necro team in bg last night, never got a hit above 5k from them, they just last longer because they have a healer, and they were a premade team.

Ironically, I think that Necro bash might actually do less then the original bash-o-matic did in terms of HP and damage...

I wouldnt jump on people for talking about issues. We all *should* know better than to expect a smooth roll out. PTS is pretty limiting compared to going live, just in number base alone.

Yeah, I know that now. This was the first time me (or anyone else) had run into this build.

The problem (if there is one) is that now we have a situation all over again like we had with Werewolves before they got nerfed - your ONLY counterplay is to just run away! Running away is not very satisfying.

Isn’t the OP a sorc? Showing damage numbers is meaningless without context. If the person’s a glass canon in all divines every damage ability is OP... unless it’s on a sorc.

As for running away, what do you do when you see a permafrost or eye of the storm? Just eat it?

One is the bash an AoE?
Two were you using major evasion?

I recall the tooltip saying something about it being AoE, so that may be a little counterplay.

My current build has 19K physical resist and 3K crit resist. Imagine if there was a machine gun firing crystal frags at you and they all crit... that's how hard and fast this guy was hitting. My 29K health went from 100 to 0 in what felt like a couple seconds.

BTW, I'm not demanding a nerf. I just want to see what the community thinks about this ultimate. Is this what necromancer is all about, building ult until you wallop people with this thing?

You can use that ultimate only after you regained 250 Ultimate after 20 seconds where your ultigen is completely stopped. You give up cheap and powerful ultimates (DboS for example) for that 20s window where you might be able to bash people to death (if they arent careful).

Screaming how OP this is just based on a death recap after 3 days of patch time isnt really how to convince devs to listen to your feedback. Look at the tooltip and compare it to similar ultimates (such as EotS), other passives that might boost it (such as the 1h&s passive that most players combine this with) and instead of trying to get an ultimate ability nerfed to the ground (which are allowed to be powerful and meant to be dangerous to others), maybe we need to look at other passives that make this so strong...

Reducing the potency of this ultimate further (it was already nerfed from its original state) will simply stop players from using it, especially because it is so expensive.

The problem I see is that the bash CD is too low. You can use 5 bash in 2 seconds. That Ultimate should change the bash CD to 1 per second.
