It's a decent storyline, but I'm not surprised a lot of people haven't completed it. Besides the arena and temple district quests, the Nobles quest has several multiple mob fights in a very exposed area, making you a clear target if there are gankers. Also, the flow of the missions just isn't there; a run back through the sewers to base adds a lot of time unless you're willing and able to campaign hop.

Well too bad since is the most beautiful and well done DLC of the entire game, pvp is a small price to pay for IC.
Aestetically not the quests... most of them are boring honestly, except for the last one really cool quest.

I seem to remember the Quest, but I so rarely go there because it takes so long to both get the group in the same campaign, and then ride there from the base camp, it's a good 30 to 60 minutes from, hey, let's go to IC to actually showing up.

I tired to do it when it first came out and got tired of getting ganked. So I took my pvp character out and got stuck doing pvp bc it was so much fun with the added MOBs so always forgot to retry the story line again.

But nothing more fun then pulling a world boss on a group taking the flag . Hope the population picks up in this next patch with it being separated from Cyro.

I tried, kept getting PWNED by gankers while I was speaking to NPC's. Can't imagine how proud those gankers must of felt.

You dont have to pvp to do the questline and can entirely avoid it such as i did

No, because I don't have the slightest interest in any form of PvP in this game. Yes, I have done PvP before elsewhere and killed every ganker who attacked me the moment I left the starting area in one MMO, for example. I just don't have any interest in it nowadays and significant storyline quests simply shouldn't be locked behind it, just as public trading shouldn't be locked behind guild membership - the two things that ZOS have got wrong in an otherwise nigh on perfect MMORPG in my view.

No. Cyrodiil is a pvp area. I don't pvp. I'm not competitive. I don't care if you're character can kill mine by blinking at her. I do, however, find it annoying when other players block me from content just because. Considering the other times I was in Cyrodiil I was going to the crafting station in IC, pre-attunable stations, and kept getting killed by another player who never attacked until after I had been fighting the npc enemies, I sort of gathered that was what any pvp experience I was involved in was going to be. After the 6th time he killed me I guess he got bored, and I finally got to the crafting station. :shrug: I really don't see the point in pvp, so.... Yeah, no. One of the stories in the game I won't be playing, I guess.

It's one of my favourites. The Drake of Blades is one of the most outstanding characters in the game. There's some Lore you won't find anywhere else. A very challenging environment and very challenging boss fights. It has it all.

Just to dispel a bit of fear here, esp for my fellow PvErs who are already quivering from gank-potential... I'm pewp at combat and I soloed the arena part last weekend with no trouble whatsoever. Go give it a whirl; worst that happens is you die.

Oh, and bank your tel var each time you go back to the base, if that matters to you.

Edit: Fwiw, I died *once* the entire quest, and that was when I ran face-first into a banner boss around the corner from me. I sat there giggling at how fast he decimated me. Combination of luck and planning - I picked a campaign where my faction owned most of the city; I never saw another non-EP player. GL guys.

Nobody's quivering and it's nothing to do with fear, we're simply not interested. There's more than enough we do enjoy in the game without bothering with the bits we have no interest in.

I haven't because it's in PvP-land. I've done a few of the district quest with a group I play with that sometimes does runs in Imperial City. Who knows when (or if) that will ever get finished, especially with IC becoming its own campaign.

I completed it some years ago on my main character. 'Tis a nice, memorable storyline, as personified via the Drake of Blades.

That said, I suspect the Imperial City's districts and sewers will become more populated with the advent of its separation from Cyrodiil into its own campaign(s). Ladies and gents might want to get a start on the IC storyline before Elsweyr drops.

Maybe I'm a nerd but this quest line is so important in regards to the main story of this game. The harborage has a good ending but this wraps up all the loose ends and you get to visit some pretty cool places.
