I remember the first time my friend told me I should do this storyline. I loved it and loved the lore behind it and how it wrapped up the original harborage storyline and ended the daedric invasion of Tamriel. But since then I've been amazed at how many people don't even know IC has a story to it so I'm wondering how many people have completed it.

Most likely because of the PvP element part of it, that's why not many people know that IC has it. I do PvP and PvE, so it's not really much of an issue for me. My problem before was the mobs were tough to defeat (at least when it was released), it was nice that they nerfed them, but I suppose ZoS is buffing them again next patch? ✭YesIt's a nice storyline and I did it on two characters, back when I was still quite low on CP. IC was quite busy back then and I couldn't do some of the quests on my own with my ~200 CP.
I remember that I definitely needed help for the arena district and ended up doing that fight there with two blues and a red player, with all of us limiting our AoE attacks to not damage each other too much.
Got ganked a few times too, but that just made it more thrilling and exciting, I like PVP (i prefer PVE group content tho and don't PVP often nowadays). I really loved the combination of PVE and PVP in IC and I hope the upcoming changes to IC help increase the population there again..

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Its a great questline, but I'd recommend bringing a partner for the Arena and Temple district if you aren't sure of your ability to solo multi-wave bosses.1 -
