Do you have trouble ignore resource points when playing?

I subscribe to ESO+. It would be a waste of money in my eyes to not use that unlimited crafting bag to its fullest potential.

It doesn't stop at resource nodes for me either. Every sack, backpack and melon basket in a delve or dungeon, too.

I'd say it's an addiction. Until picked, every node is a potential dust waiting to be found. I have more Kuta than I'll ever use, same for every other material. But I still pick everything up.

Just kidding. When I am playing solo, I will usually gather materials. When I am playing with a group on a guild activity, I usually ignore them.

Almost all the time, but a few do tempt me.

I do resource node loops so I can sell the mats to make bank so when I’m doing other things I can easily pass them by for the most part.

Chests on the other hand I will reroute my whole trip for even if it’s in a zone with crap sets.

I used to be obsessed with gathering everything I came across, but I slowly realised that they were in abundance so most of the time if I'm mounted i'll carry on, unless it's a herb like corn flower or lady's smock then I will dis mount for that. (Because lets face it you can never have enough of those)

If I am already not on the mount and i'm near it, i will pick it up. It's a good habit if you're a crafter.

I didn't do that originally, but I realized they can sometimes drop stuff too so all those often get scooped up as well.

Sometimes, when I race other player to resource nodes, I leave Nightshade behind; but I then return to see if he picked it - if not, I will pick Nightshade too

I have so many max mats now, I can’t really be bothered. However, should I start a new character I would collect everything again because I am low on those resources. Sometimes I am picking everything up but then get annoyed at how little I am progressing in the zone and make a point to only pick up, say, water or butterflies.
