Got to say, I'm pretty bummed about the skyshard thing. I didn't want just anything. I wanted a game that I would enjoy playing rather than skipping.
Traveling around Tamriel collecting skyshards isn't inconvenient to me. Squinting at the map on my phone is inconvenient to me. Traveling around Tamriel collecting skyshards is part of the game. Squinting at the map on my phone is not part of the game.
But it's the console perspective. PC defines convenience differently, because add-ons mask so many deficiencies in the game. I don't mind if people buy skyshards on principle, I'm just sad that the more miserable it is to play the game on console, the more money they will make from us on this type of item. It's exactly the opposite of what we wanted: a well-designed game UI.4 -
