Scrap the snare reduction, give Redguards a toughness bonus.

The toughness bonus comes in their added physical resistance. The 15% snare reduction is just a cherry on top.

what physical resistance buff did redguards get?

They didn't in actual game. But in my hypothetical rebalance (this thread) they have 2310 physical resistance.

They didn't get one. And 15% snare reduction is more like a cherry on top of your mashed potatoes. Sure it's not hurting anything, but you really gotta question the chef who put it there.

On top of the bonus to physical resistance I've given them it makes a lot of sense as a nice little benefit in place of immunity to a specific status effect (which most other races get).

But on its own, how it currently is on live servers, it's very underwhelming.

Why are these ‘2nd guess the devs’ threads so popular? It’s like people have never heard of a development cycle and how long it takes to implement changes.

If you’re interested in helping shape the game do it proactively. At this point I’d be shocked if a dev even opens this thread because they’re working on something new.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

Because players want their favorite race stronger than it is.

Seriously. On a different topic a player acknowledged one nerf was for balance so we wanted another aspect buffed which would mean it was no longer balanced. They did not even grasp what they were saying.

Regardless, this thread is dead in the water now. Zos stated they are not interested in revisiting the racial passives at this time, which makes sense.

At this point I just want them to fix the passives that they either removed or changed that breaks the games lore. The games lore should matter and be factored before doing stuff like this. If they are going to start breaking lore that is in ESO itself and not just the other games, that's just wrong. You shouldn't have quest dialogue and lore books stating your race has a passive that it doesn't anymore.
