Absolutely the truth. I'm not into the whole necromancer thing, but it wouldn't occur to me to think every Redguard would be so inside the "norm" that there would never be one or more.

Actually a traditional redguard necromancer is lorebreaking but you can see plenty of non traditional redguards all around.

The Ash'abah for instance, in Alik'r, who fight the ... redguard necromancers of Alik'r themselves.

And Bahraha in Khefrem at the time of Hubalajad who was a pretty neat leech, too.

There is intention in choosing a Redguard for that image. It was great to see in today's stream the important role lore has in their development choices.

People will *** about lore without caring about gameplay balance, and people will *** about balance without caring about lore.

I haven't done the Alkir storyline in awhile but I thought the Necromancy was Imperials as that story ties into Bangkorai and the Imperial invasion there.

I was just going to mention those bosmer. While yes there are some who would kill you for merely plucking a flower (it was the wife's fault not the khajiit's), there are also those who'd burn down a whole forest just to screw over a group of Colovians.

The bigger consistency problem will likely be the fact that a necromancer will also be the hero of both the mages guild and the psijic order. I’m not really keen on lore outside of the main single player series, but at first glance that seems wonky to me.

Lore is not a the laws of gravity or thermodynamics. its a malleable thing that add fluff and sets rough precedents. What about the Withered Hand hmmm? Weren't they Redguard Necromancers?
