Those in power only have the illusion they are powerful, however in reality, those in power are only so because we allow them to be.
Hmmm, interesting. Although I would love to say I will participate in this, truth be told is that I truly believe that in a few weeks I will probably not be around anymore. I wish I could say why however based on experience talking about it, does not fix it.
It would be nice to learn more of the khajiit and possible see more of Maiq the liar and have a side line quest by him, maybe something to do with skooma and at the end of the quest he doesn't admit there was even one and knows nothing about skooma.
That said, About Dragons. If dragons, and necromancy, what of dragon priests?

ZOS, CHANGE IT! NEW SKILL LINE, PLEASE!
CLASS IS SO OUTDATED!
Lol why skill line? It would be much more difficult to manage and last chapter had soo many complaints due to single Psijic Skill Line.
Class pack with 3 skill line and lot of passives, we need class.
It's more difficult to balance classes.
The game needs horizontal progression.
I don't want to have to levl up a new character from Lvl 3 to 50 again, and I don't have any more slots.
In fact, all ESO classes should be extinguished and replaced with Skill Lines.
This is ESO, not WoW or FFXIV.
You do not want ESO to grow, it needs new class not simple skill line.
For end game players, game is dying!

Glad I'm not the only one that sees this. I mean eso has been playing fast and loose with the lore since inception, but this is truly jumping the shark and disregarding all lore entirely.
Lore...lore... Oh, come on! ZOS can make another lorebook which will talk about dragons and this will become a new lore. It's a game and not a real history.
Bring it on! All this stuff sounds too fun.
And this is exactly how cows and whales would comment. Which just confirms my original theory, that you would be very pleased by all of this.
Well, I'm a self-professed whale - and so far I'm not a bit happy about it. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
I've already had some issues with "lore" in this game - but since they set the game in a time where there wasn't a whole lot "codified as canon" previously, I've let it slide by me.
Don't think this is going to slide very well though.... and on top of that, it'll be an absolutely HUGE download I won't have the bw for, so I'll have to ask a friend to send me his install folder again.... *sigh*

Also a "terrifying sench-rat"? Looks very low down compared to other mounts.
Lots of interesting stuff.
I am trying to decide how I feel about all this...
Necromancy feels more like a skill line than a class, but I can see why they would do a new class. We will buy character slots, mount upgrades, xp scrolls, etc.
Dragons and Elsweyr seems like an odd combination, but the "lore masters" usually write good stuff, so I may have to hold my immersion nose at moments and just enjoy the story.
I agree with one of the previous posts... It will all be worth it for the Gerboa.

Yeah I would agree with that. Wardens would definitely be a more Bosmer (or Breton) thing. So really, Vvardenfell / Warden / Battlegrounds are equally unrelated. Summerset and Psijic go together, but there's also no connection with them and Jewellery. What if the second Dragon's Break from the Psijic Order questline brought the dragons back? Or you know, it could be necromancers who did it in Elsweyr. Maybe that's how it's all connected? Although... I didn't really see a connection with the Warden class and Morrowind, as nature and green is more of a wood elf thing, not a dark elf thing. Correct me if I'm wrong on that though.

That would make sense yes buuuuuuuuut...you really think they're gonna save something as big as a dragon encounter for a trial that 99% of these people will never set foot in? No way.

worldboss. problem solved
Elsweyr, Necromancy, Dragons. I really don't see how those three things are related.Seraphayel wrote: »- New zone: Elsweyr

@ZOS_Lawrence_Schick I look forward to your explanations.

sounds so weird. I mean Dragons in Elsweyr? Why? Getting a tan or what? And then Necromancy?
Right now we lack almost every bit of information but it sounds like a really weird cocktail of ingredients to work in the end. I have to agree with @Dracane on this except for the Elsweyr part. Dragons and Necromancy very much sound like the most obvious choice to generate cash, just Skyrim as a new zone would have brought more to that table.

This makes sense, though, as ESO is now an aging game and the graphics and engine are frozen in time, while more sophisticated games are on the horizon. Of course they want to maximize profit, so they will throw lore to the wind in order to generate the most cash before the inevitable migration to other titles.
