I'm pretty disappointed that even Rich Lambert himself is communicating to the community that he doesn't want us here. So okay, that's fine I guess he's telling us to unsub. I'm going to take his advice.

I would like for them to postpone a new DLC and dedicate a cycle to fixing the game as it currently is. That would show me that ZOS and the Devs care about current players and improving their game. Adding on new DLCs counts as improvement; but major improvement is sacrificing a cycle of marketing to better improve what exists.

I am sure they are all really lovely people, who care about the game they are building.

However, on current performance, they appear utterly incapable of developing the game, QAing their work or checking that it actually functions before releasing it. And I find it hard to respect a developer who doesn’t take enough pride in their work to ensure that every upgrade is basically workable.

They seem to make a lot of assumptions that “things have been fixed” and “the game is working well” before launching patches that just don’t work or events that fail to function as intended.

On a basic performance level, this game is less playable than it was this time last year and that’s a sad indictment of the entire development team.

    1. No Predatory Gambling Boxes.

    2. Limited store, everything included in sub (expansions at a cost is fair enough).

    3. No store nag screens.

    4. Honest and frequent communication with the community.

    5. Developers actually play and understand the issues in their games.

How about spending time playing and testing on a console instead of a pc only to see how the other half live and what we have to put up without the help/make easier add-ons. Every time I see them play it is on pc.

I would also like to add that i dont actually hate zos. Mainly i am very feed up with both the upper management and the combat team.

95% of zos i would say are going a great job. Lawrence schick, brian wheeler, Rich (even if i think he is starting to get mad at the community). These are great people and I have not a bad thing to say about them. Along with the vast majority of zos.

Even the combat team, though im sure i will denies saying this come update 21. Are good, competent people, the problem is they are developing a game with millions of players according to what they would like to see for the game and not what the existing player base wants.

you can see it every patch " we are excited for", "we want players to" then they show it to the players and the whole player base is like omg no, where tf did they hear this is what we want.

They need to re-vamp end-game PvE (fixing PvP would be much appreciated as well). It really comes down to balancing issues. I love hard, end-game content. What I don't love is being pigeon holed into playing a specific class, and wearing specific gear sets to be "accepted" into this end-game content. From a DD perspective, they need to do something to combat these dumb "minimum DPS" requirements to get accepted into a trial run outside of your base game Craglorn trials, and only specific classes, and gear sets allowing you to meet this minimum requirements.

I can hit 50k+ on my MagBlade, but to me I personally hate playing one. At the end of that DPS parse, you can also bet that 80% of my resources are drained just prior to entering execute phase. I can hit 38-39k on my MagSorc pet build who I have mained for years, and enjoy playing the most, and have a good 75% of my resources remaining at the end of my DPS parse. I can land these same numbers with about 7 different sets as well. However, most end-game trial groups want to see 40 - 45k minimum just to make the cut. I'd love to use my MagDK again, but still, only managing to get around 35-38k. THIS IS BROKEN.

Even if it is the community setting such ridiculous minimum requirements. It is really ZoS's responsibility to allow more viable end-game options. Either trials need to be re-thought, or the game needs to be better balanced (which we all know is already true). Either way, it is a real kick in the nuts for a lot of end-game players. I've played long enough to know that MANY people are NOWHERE near 30k DPS, and therefor will NEVER experience any of the harder content. ZoS needs to move away from the "stack and burn" mentality even more than they already have. They need more mechanic heavy trials (no, I don't mean more cheap 1 shot mechanics to artificially inflate difficulty), not this mixture of some added mechanics but you still need top 10% tier DPS to complete. I am tired of playing classes I despise, and I know for certain others I play with often are as well.

In the end, we need more diversity! Rather it come from class changes, end-game content changes, balance changes, etc. I really could care less; it just needs to be done.

Listen to the player base, instead of pushing ideas you have onto the community. Stop nerfing. If you want other races to be played more, buff them, but don't touch the other ones.

Anytime you make changes to skills or races give out free respecs for a limited time.
