My Nord is the one I've played most, but I have all races except Breton and Imperial (so far).
The overall rates are going to account for all the alts people play, so it could be that Altmer is everyone's second choice, or that those who play a Dunmer never play anything else, or the answer to some other question than "who's main?"
Two Nords.
Two Argonians, of which I generally use.... none. I use their bags though. Not... them as bags. Though one might argue it's one and the same thing.
One Dunmer.
One Imperial.
One Khajiit.
One Breton.
Argonians, the most wise, peaceful, strong and unique race in Tamriel.
Also, a tribute from TES to South America and Ameridian Culture (I'm from Brazil).
Finally, they look like Dragons!
I'm pleasantly surprised by the variation in race. I personally go Bosmer in every TES game and did so in ESO too but started on PS4 way back when, built a PC and switched 2 years ago and went Argonian Sorcerer for no real reason, he just felt so right when I created him, thinking of creating my classic Bosmer Archer soon even though I hear they really don't work too well in PvP but that's not much of an issue for me, don't PvP all that much.
Though the notion of "main" has become diluted come One Tamriel more than 2 years ago, and even more so in the mean time. Now I have 7 characters I play regularly, and 3 more planned for the next year, with 5 more auxiliaries that have no clear timeline for activation, and for the time being are fully invested into crafting.
Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

Too hard to choose. I try to play every class in both stamina and magicka variants to discover new things that I like. Lately I've been enjoying my Bosmer stealth, and Argonian tank.
I switch between two almost equally: a Breton and an Imperial (though a large number of my alts are also Imperial).
PC/NA
Mountain God | Leave No Bone Unbroken | Apex Predator | Pure Lunacy | Depths Defier | No Rest for the Wicked | In Defiance of Death
Defanged the Devourer | Nature's Wrath | Relentless Raider | True Genius | Bane of Thorns | Subterranean Smasher | Ardent Bibliophile
My main alts are Khajiit too, i've been playing the cats since Morrowind. I have made some other alts, but only really like to play the cats. Same with the Vah Shir in EQ.
Voted argonian because that's what i've been playing almost exclusively since summerset, but if /played was the deciding factor, it would be a redguard. I tend to change the 'main' once a year, at least.
