Are you satisfied with how tab target works?

It's too much FPS for my taste. I recognized it often with heavy restro attacks catched by sorc pets, dwemer spheres, etc in BGs for example.

No it's terrible. WTB hard lock targeting. I'm sick of hitting critters and sorc pets instead of my actual target.

    It's not good.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Has it been fixed in the past 2 years that I stopped trying it?

Or is it still the same where it merely highlights the target. It is still up to you to make sure it is actually targeted. Other enemies or creatures can still walk in front of it and take it's hit.

99.9% of the time tab targeting does nothing.

0.1% of the time it makes you target people not even on your screen-

It’s mostly just useful to see your target when they go behind LOS. You literally can see where they are. Yet terrible for actual targeting or even just being a tie breaker if your cursor is between targets.

I hate tab targetting. I think it‘s lazy. So I‘m happy it only serves for highlighting one specific opponent. Also: I think it is meant like that by ZOS, so working as intended.

    NO, I'm NOT satisfied.

Nightblades should not be able to "shake off" tab-targeting with Cloak!

The tab-target outline should only disappear while the Nightblade is actually invisible. Once the Nightblade reappears, the tab-target outline should ALSO reappear.

The way it works now is massively unfair to other classes, because it allows NBs to perpetually make themselves untargetable in the middle of a bunch of other players or mobs.

Tab targetting doesn't do anything pretty much. You can have a tab targetted target and still hit some random snake, rabbit, rat and what not instead. Very frustrating when your resources, including ranged ults, are wasted that way.

It's not fair yes. But IMO tab target should not be able to show you enemies behind LoS anyways..

As a form of hard lock targeting it's utterly useless, but I do like that it highlights a specific target. I like using it in stealth missions, when trespassing, and in dungeon content. In PvP it's essentially a free wallhack that seemingly most players don't know about (just because you went behind that rock or under that bridge doesn't mean I can't see that you're about to pop out).

    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

I think tab targeting should break when Line of Sight is broken. It's pretty ridiculous that you can see it through walls. It's more powerful than a Mark spell, and everyone gets it for free. Bad.
