What would be a class YOU would like to see come next?

I feel like theres going to be a new class coming up in 2019.. so with this thought of mine, what class would yall like to see?

Personally, i'd like to see another good cast class.. Warlock, Illusionist, Necromancer, Druid, Shaman, Conjurer etc..
Sure, 3 of them are from WoW, but theyre all very interesting caster classes.. ive personally always preferred caster classes over melee.

What kinda class would you like to see in ESO?

    I would love to see a class based solely on providing buffs/debuffs. The trees could include a tree for defensive buffs, attack buffs, and healing type buffs. You could customize your character with what weapon you want, and would offer stam/mag morphs of each, so you could essentially build a tank, healer, or a dps, depending on how you want to benefit yourself/the group.

    Grand Master Crafter, Beta baby who grew with the game. PC/NA. @Sheezabeast if you have crafting needs!

    EQ2 had warlock before WoW, I would't say it is from that, and the other classes existed in games way before WoW,I played a Druid in tabletop D&D. Not sure why WoW always gets credit for these things. Just saying.

    Anyhow, personally I'd like to see necromancer.

    Algebra.

    Sorry I can't help myself.

    I was thinking Druid because I really liked playing a Druid back when we were still rolling dice. But I'm guessing I would be disappointed in what they would have to do for game balance. Not sure they could allow a Druid the way I remember them without breaking the game.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    As usual when the topic comes up, as it does on a regular basis... my opinion, same as always:

    I for one would not ever like to see another -class-, because while adding new classes at this point may sound like a good idea to new players, but alas, for those of us who have been playing since launch and made a dozend or more alts already, the idea generally is recieved with a shudder of vexation...
    Both for the reason of having to play yet another alt through all the content we already did over a dozend times to enjoy the new classyness (and don't start about how levelling a character to 50 is so easy - it is, but the levelling is the -least- of it, all the questlines, riding, skill points, alliance ranks, crafting research and so on is also to be considered), and for roleplayers much, much worse, the vexation that could come if the new class would prove to be a better choice for one of our existing character concepts, backstory-wise, then what we had available when we originally created that character... and thus facing us with the uncomfortable choice of either retiring the well-loved and likely often played character and redoing their concept from scratch with the new class, or grinding our teeth in frustration and thinking up a new character for the new class while always being reminded of the suddenly suboptimal depiction of the old character concept...

    (And yes, I experienced both of those frustrations with Warden, and I really would prefer not to repeat such aggrivation)

    ...

    I would say, once again, if they wanted to breathe fresh life into the class system, they ought to do it with class specializations... something like the old D&D "prestige classes" that might allow us to refit new classyness to -all- characters, no matter if newly made or played since launch, something that lets us diversify the existing classes into several sub-options, something that forces people to -choose- which way to go with their character instead of being able to "doitall" like with guild skill lines, something to make the game more fun for everyone...
    ...maybe... like... https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/369966/class-morph-idea-mk-ii ;)

    I actually agree with this, and not just for fun reasons.

    As it stands now, we have a number of diverse power sources represented in the current five classes. If you want a traditionally arcane feel, you have Nightblades and Sorcerers (with Nightblades leaning toward Mysticism as represented in the lore, and Sorcerers having a more "Daedric magic" feel, if you choose to build that way).

    Dragon magic, elemental earth, and elemental fire are represented very well by the Dragon Knight.

    You want Aetherial/Divine magic? The Templar has it in spades.

    And finally, we have Wardens if you're looking for the natural world as your power source.

    The reason I like the idea of a Bard is that such a class seems a perfect place to add skill lines devoted to illusions, glamours, and the like (since Illusion is a classic ES school of magic). You could also add a line geared toward the control of sound, since tonal architecture is a definite thing within the lore.

    So, yeah. Good call, Artim!

    Have to consider what archetypes ESO already has:

    Warden = Druid / Nature
    Templar = Priest / Holy
    DK = Knight / Warrior
    Sorc = Wizard / Summoner
    NB = Assassin

    Scout/Ranger/Huntress - Ranged DPS is what's missing. Something that complements bow nicely. A class that could kite well with some ranged DD nukes/snares maybe.

    Bard's College should be added as the next guild skill line imo.

    Oh, goodness, I hope not. If anything, I wish ESO classes would be removed from this game.

    Then, bring forth those Oblivion gave us, where one is... dare I say it... custom!

    Yeah, because when I create a character, I don't want to be shoehorned into a specific role.

    I have a hybrid, whom one day, may get some love in this game.

    But only if damage isn't directly tied to attributes.
