    Unfortunately, what you're suggesting does NOT work. The Elemental Weapon times out too soon. I believe if the window was increased to 2.5 seconds, it would work as desired. Even an extra 0.2 seconds might be enough.

    I have just checked it and it works in melee range pretty well, so next time don’t disinform people pls

    I tested this over and over on a dummy and there was no way to get the elemental weapon to hit if i cast an ability in between casting the EW and the light attack. The light attack would land like 2.15 seconds after the cast of EW, and that appears to be too late. BUT, I should mention that I was using the Destro staff only, maybe Resto staff works better.

    I’ve already re-rolled magblade for the fun of it. So at least these whining forumblades are working hard to keep my new class nerf free!

    Rune cage isnr ruined at all and going back to flame reach wouldnt be better. Rune cage drops block and has a delay getting to the person and breaking out of it, its dodgeable now LIKE flame reach, flame reach doesnt drop block and can be blocked rune cage can. So rune cage is still superior to flame reach, rune cage is in a way better place now

    I do not know but firmly believe the unbreakable part comes when more than one person is CCIng you at the same time. In almost any 1v1 situation I have been in the person I hit with cage broke free quite easily. The very rare times they didn't I assume they didnt have the stam to do it. The problem with the system is that cc immunity is granted by break free but if you can't break free you can't gain immunity, and are open to being chain stunned.

    CC immunity should be granted by the effect that causes the CC, i.e. fear, cage, fossilize, stone fist, etc. not break free. Those abilities themselves should make a person immune, not break free. As soon as you are stunned you are immune is how it should be. Then there is no window open where you can get chain stunned.

    Stuns with knockbacks and animations seem to be the worst offenders. If the stun itself made you immune then no one else could stun you while the animation plays. The only time I seem to get perma stunned is when about 6 people are on me at the same time, never in a 1v1 scenario to my recollection. Anyone have any different experience from this?

    It doesn’t do any damage though.

    Flame reach has damage and a dot. Rune cage does not.
