If there are items on your Daily Rewards page that have a grey lock icon, there are not enough days left in the month in order for you to eventually claim those rewards. All that said, we are working on ways to improve how unobtainable rewards are communicated on the Daily Rewards page with a much clearer visual element.

Try red. White and grey are not dissimilar enough to avoid confusion. Red for unobtainable and white for obtainable would be easier to distinguish.

Yes, I agree with that, red would be a good solution.

An experience scroll? Is that a joke? Like I’m 100% sure this experience has been inexcusable. I’ve effectively not been able to play with any certainty since Summerset release. How about refund my ESO+, or make the next DLC free, or anything of substance. Fixing the game would also be a nice start. Pathetic!

They're trying to retain the new players they brought in with Summerset (the main point of Summerset), not reach out to vets. Their business model is about bringing in a constant influx of new players, not keeping you and me around for years. Makes me a little sad. :'(

Eventhough you deleted my message the ESO LIVE agenda should be performance... with mr Frior and mr Lambert explaining this.

Only thing that should be focused at the moment... simple as that.

I would also suggest that they would login into PS4 and Xbox Cyrodiil and experience this 1st hand.... meaning actually playing during that ESO LIVE.

    Never gonna happen.

^THIS! @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Nothing was mentioned here nor has anyone from ZOS chimed in on how the disappearing stuctures have become even worse since the last patch that supposedly 'fixed' this problem.... clearly from the amount of comments and pictures in this thread, you have clear supporting photographic evidence that this is STILL a huge problem. Can we please get a comment about this from either of you?!?

I have no faith either about this happening. Would like to see them explain how these freezes, invisible players who attack you, People that walk through walls/doors and skills that go nonresponsive are just minor issues.

That would be one hilarioius ESO LIVE and by far best one they have done... as for more serious note they really should do this too.

PLEASE ADDRESS THE SPRINT BUG. This bug has been reported numerous times, by myself and many others including popular streamer @FENGRUSH . This is one of the most debilitating bugs in PvP right now, as it can cause you to lose all of your resources in mere seconds without you even being aware of what is happening. In addition you lose all chance of a fair fight due to lack of being able to cast abilities or regenerate resources.

Please ZoS, this needs to become a priority that makes the next incremental. It is infuriating to have this happen multiple times in almost every fight you enter. The bug is frequentley associated with the "Target is out of range" and "target is immune" notifications when attempting to attack/use abilities on another player. Please refer to the bug report section for multiple examples of this bug.

    Steam Login Issues
We are fully aware of the intermittent issues with launching ESO from Steam reliably, and we have been working with Steam over the last few weeks to diagnose and fix the underlying problem. These efforts are ongoing and as soon as we have an update, we'll let everyone know.
....as I suspected, they probobly dont know. Here is a pro-tip, try wireshark and see what's going on network-wise first. If you guys need some help I am a Linux LAMP system admin(with API's too), former CCNA, and will work for crowns under NDA j/k

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can you have some communication from the dev team(s) as to why adding new content destabilises existing content?

It's understandable that new content has the potential to be buggy and glitchy, but new content that breaks the old unrelated content seems to indicate poor programming skills from the developers, or at the very least the common problem of not releasing memory at the end of functions.

Probobly not using a versioning control system(or a poorly implemented one)...

    Thank you for the update!

It's a bit depressing, this emphasis that the focus is on stability, when there's absolutely no way performance and stability aren't connected. My game in PVP is performing like a garbage pile, pings shoots up to 600+ when I'm near a fighting a huge guild, and then I get forcibly disconnected? Feels like some major overlap there. But I still appreciate the attempts at fixing parts of the problem.

I'm a grown human so I don't care about dates for Midyear, but it'll suck if it gets pushed out so far that kids on summer break and whatnot can't enjoy the AP harvest. :( Best of luck getting it working.

Never said it was her choice. It is not definately...... I agree with you.

However we as a customers accept unfunctional products than this is what we get. Do you buy a car which does not start and be satisfied and happy.. thank the seller how nice the car is?

That is basically what this is at the consoles at the moment with no rush fix any of it.

That is the problem and should be the problem. I used to enjoy annoucements of these DLC's etc but not anymore because the game is not functioning. You decorate product all you want but if the root is rotten than is of no use.... There was the CWC fiasco not long ago among other things.

There seems to quite a few issues with PC users as well just diffrent fiascos currently.

I'am basiacally intrested on what is taking ages to fix? They should and could have rushed out emergency patch out as we all know but choose not to do it! Why is that?

They sure hell do owe customers way more than some wasted xp scroll after this episode again.

Explanation by the people who manage / deciede about these servers, performance issues would be an good place to start.

So many things just do not add up if you are actually appreciating your customers.

Daily rewards still break if you log out when we have a reward available and waiting to be claimed, because they reset at 8pm ET. The timer just flat out resets to waiting until the next day, as if we claimed the reward but is for the same reward it said was available.

This is not good because sometimes we crash logging in or right after login or have bad internet connection or just want to claim a reward on another character or aren't paying attention or whatever reason.
    It's just not stable.

Pleas please please please fix this timer reset on logout issue.

Thank you for the update and keeping us all in the loop, but as a console user I am thoroughly disappointed with the support and action being taken to address the lagging and freezing. It has taken way too long for summerset to be fixed, and we all paid for a broken game.

To be fair, a lot of the performance, graphic, and gameplay issues happened (or came back) after multithreading was introduced with Summerset. Multithreading in games may be desirable, but it's also difficult to implement well unless the game and its engine is built new from the ground-up.

Re-engineering an existing game to multi-threaded operation isn't a simple affair at all. And making it work on a multi-platform game is going to be even harder.

It helps if you know a bit about how operating systems and processor management work, but the simplest explanation is that the game expects calculations to complete and be available within a very narrow slice of time so that it can perform an action and move on to the next thing. If the calculation isn't ready, the game process has to wait. If that wait happens at the wrong time, bad things may happen. With one main thread, it's challenging, but well-understood, to keep everything running along smoothly and provide error-handling for when things don't run as expected and calculations come in late due to lag/bugs/whatever.

Now, let's try to do that with two main threads. It's not just twice as hard -- it's worse. The main game thread now has to have two process complete and ready to feed results to the main process on-time. It doesn't matter if one or both threads force the main process to wait, the result is the same -- the main process must wait, and now it's expecting twice as much to get done, so twice as much must wait, with four times as many consequences (and counting) as a result. Not fun at all, and potentially game-breaking.

So now the game program has to get even more clever in how it deals with thread timing. There are ways to allow for lazy thread completion so that the main thread is always acting on things that have been completed and stored in cache memory, but games are time-sensitive, so this only works so far. There's still a lot of need for just-in-time thread completion to keep character movement and combat hits updated. If thread synchronization goes too far off, bad things start happening -- graphics don't update on time, or in the wrong order. Weird control responses throw off combat. Irregular lag throws everything into an unpredictable mess. All of this and more has to be coped with in how a multithreaded game is programmed.

Now add in making this work under Windows, Mac, XBox and Playstation. That's four different operating systems (XBox is a Windows variant, but it has different rules) with different abstraction layers (rules) for how threads interact with the CPU. They're all similar in the modern era, but definitely not exactly the same. So there's even more work to do.

Testing extensively is essential, but it's no substitute for the real world. PC/Mac in particular can have countless variations in other software running in the background, affecting the CPU's responses to the game. PC has an incomprehensibly wide variety of hardware and driver combinations, plus multiple Windows OS versions and patch states to contend with. So ultimately, it's a "best informed guess" to decide when to release a "stable" version into the wild. Then there's no choice but to hope, and wait for the bug reports to come back.

I really do suspect that things will get better in fairly short order over the course of several patches, but it won't be instant. It can't be because of inter-dependencies in how the game code runs. ZOS did a very bold thing with multithreading enhancement to a highly established game and engine. It's a process, not a one-time upgrade. And, in reality, MMO games are a process, not a static release. We should expect things to change in a healthy MMO -- but that inevitably means some rough spots along the way to get to where we want.
