Console needs to be taken down asap (freezes + Updated with message from Zos)

Okay so looks like ZOS has commented several times and Alex has graced us with a semi-satisfying response (albeit long overdue), any idea when we will be able to play PVP without lagging/freezes happening?

Also can y'all just admit that it was the lighting patch that *** over cyrodiil or are we still going strong with the completely inexplicable reason that performance took a nose dive the moment it was released

Please just fix it so i can do a DPS test... the lag, unresponsive skills and bar swap issue is bordering amateur quality product... seriously come on... its 2am EU server, liw population and still lag.... introduced since your patch!

Cyrodiil is absolutely unplayable. The freezing happens no matter what.

Lol, we're in the middle of taking a keep and everybody freezes. This is just unacceptable.

if the bug that just hit me on pc hits consoles yall will have a worse issue coming soon. the game litterally breaks itself and has amnesia on where your located or even the server your on

They really need to do something about the lightning staff heavy attacks not going off. It's annoying standing around like an idiot holding down a heavy attack with nothing happening.

Xbox EU Cyrodiil is UNPLAYABLE since months.
So many people who have played this game for 3 years already leave, and so many more are gonna leave soon if nothing is done to make the PvP area playable ASAP !

You just have to check at the population locks : 1 lock for each faction at everytime of the day, and maybe on primetime you reach 2 locks for AD Zergs but those Zerglings can’t play at all because they get frozen screen at every keep fight.

EVERY keep fight means half of the player in the area getting a f****** frozen screen and have to relaunch the game.

It’s kinda weird to kill your game like that, Cyrodiil has never been so empty on Xbox EU.

Guess what the games still freezing and guess what else we still don't have any idea when it will be fixed

The fact is they took way too much time to start working on those crashes.
People on console are really frustrating and angry to see how the game is since DragonBones update.

And to see the fact that nothing was done to improve the game performances (where, here, performances mean the fact to be able to play a game without having to relaunch it 10-15 times a day because of crashes and frozen screen).

The game is such laggy since 3 years, its not even 20 FPS on trials and Cyrodiil (sometimes we can literally talk about 10 FPS, nevermind) : but people accepted it and were still playing on ESO console, even with this lack of fun because of a laggy game.

But now... The game is unplayable because of those freeze. It’s not about a lack of fun here, it’s about « where did all the money we gave you go ? don’t you care about people who played in such bad conditions for 3 years ? Are you sincerely kidding with us ? »

Now you can feel like real « hate » from players who enjoyed this game for so long.

You know what ?
Putting TESO in the Xbox Game Pass was the last chance for ESO to make its community grow on Xbox, because people Talks.
And there is NOBODY that plays ESO on XBOX EU that can recommend this game to friends. Playing in those conditions ? What a joke for new players.

TBF i don’t know if I’m gonna stay on this game if nothing is done in the next two weeks. It tooks me 3 years of my life, ESO+ Real Monney sub since I started, I also bought the game and some DLC on PC (because Xbox conditions are REALLY unacceptable, it’s not a joke).

I never, never, never ever played a MMORPG with such an empty PvP server for all my life.
And the next MMORPG on Xbox is gonna kill literally the ESO community, which is already close to dead.

Bests regards, a French fan of your game which have gave you too much money and time all over those years.
You did a great game @ZoS , one of the best I ever played.

Elder Scrolls Online was initially beautifully designed. I wonder if the current programmers and developers understand the original code that was designed by personnel who are no longer with the company.

A bunch of my friends and PvP guildmates have cancelled their sub, this is absolutely disgusting the entire reason we play the game is unplayable.

ZOS we have put up with so much neglect from you but going on 4 weeks of this with barely a word is shameful and just highlights the fact that you guys don't care about us at all or you all need new staff because the personal you have now can't do their job

@ZOS_GinaBruno seems to be the only member you have that shows any dedication to converse with your customers and assure us you guys are attempting to do something

That’s because it’s Gina’s job. The person who needs to be out front explaining why his game is performing like this is hiding in his office. He needs to resign and let someone take over who knows how to develop a game.

Infinite loading screens on loading into anywhere - a delve, coming from a house into a town, going into a thieves refuge, etc.

Random freezes that then crash to desktop or just stay frozen til the .exe is killed in task manager.

The weirdest was dolmen end-audio queued up from a dolmen I did (solo, not with tons of people around) and all audio stopped, then the world froze, then a minute later unfroze and the audio finished, far from the dolmen. Then, later, after having trouble logging in the dolmen ending audio re-played in a completely different zone, far from a dolmen.



This error which I'd never seen before persisted, prevented mouse pointer movement, and necessitated killing the .exe



Crashed here in Eastmarch doing nothing in particular except closing a rift, nowhere near anyone



Getting sick of falling through the world but unlike earlier stutters, crashes, freezes, etc. this seems to be a new problem in the last 2 days.

Exactly! They need to hire people who know how to fix the game properly and not do any more releases until they somehow test them on console prior to release. If they can’t test them, they need to hire somebody more knowledgeable. We put up with load screens, this is worst.

Pvp guilds are dying. There are many players who do not comment here who have spent thousands of dollars on this game who are not coming back.
