Why? There’s a bunch of performance-related stuff that’s occurring throughout the entire game — not just Cyrodiil — after Summerset. Freezing happens in PVE overworld, along with stuttering and invisible players. They’re all likely related issues. For instance, what if they wayshrine issue is also affecting areas close to transit shrines? We have no idea at this point, so all new performance-related issues post-Summerset should be brought to the devs’
Id put up with the stuttering right now , the freezing is the biggest issue right now

I understand this but they have a habit of taking a idea and running with it and leaving out the rest of the stuff that needs fixed as long as they think they are giving us attention they think they are satisfying the players but that's not true they will only be satisfying the players when they look at all the issues I just know how they are they got a one track problem solving mind and if all the issues ain't related then if they will fix one thing and the others still might be occurring

Was thinking the same thing...do they have $zero budget to fix stuff?

Is it even possible to "fix" everything when 99% of what actually is being called for doesn't even need to be fixed? Most of it is just calls to satisfy the individual wants and needs of individual players. With that huge volume, how can they even get to the stuff that really matters.
Still - you'd think that major things like crashes, stutters, FPS jumps, etc. would take priority, but how to find it under all the layers of Nerf this, Buff that, want this, want that, gimmee this, gimmee that threads barraging all the time.

Thank you, and we appreciate your assistance.

There are people who's job it is to literally watch and read these message boards. If they cannot sort through the important and unimportant stuff in an 8 hour work day then that is a problem.
Their job is as Moderators, which means that they are to monitor content to be sure that it complies with the EULA and with standards. That is the job of a moderator, not to address technical issues. That is the job of the tech department. I am moderator on 3 other forums myself and, frankly, we haven't the time to address every single question, issue, whine, complaint and snit that every poster makes. We would need 100 times more of us. We have our job to do and we direct such things to the appropriate forums to be addressed by the appropriate people. We even transfer the thread directly and get them out of general discussion because the do not belong there.
I can't imagine Gina and crew have the time to address every technical issue as they are the moderators of the General Discussion forum. That is not their job and given the volume of posts here, there simply aren't enough of them.
Why all these issues and complaints are not being directed to the Bugs/issues forums in the first place and all the pressure for change being directed to the persons who actually have something to do with it is beyond me. I understand that they are non-responsive, but, given the toxicity and vitriol of most of these posts, can you really blame them?
I simply can't believe the level of entitlement that is being shown in so many of these threads. People posting about FPS, crash, mechanics, etc., I can understand, but 20 threads complaining that Sorcerers using shields (when they have no other defense) making it impossible for some random NB to gank them for a corner are just muddying up the waters.
Given the actual performance issues, I can only imagine that all the gimmee, gimmee threads are only getting in the way. After all, it's easier to throw the dog a bone rather than address what the actual issue is, especially when you can't even get to the actual issue because the dog just keeps nipping at your heels trying to get treats!Apache_Kid wrote: »TequilaFire wrote: »With all due respect, why can't some of the dev team and other ZOS staff who have consoles just play the game from home like normal people and experience this for themselves?

Yes i actually can blame them for that.
Customers being mildly rude or toxic to you is not a good reason to not communicate with them. This is a business not kindergarten. If we refused to communicate with customers who were rude to us at some point at my job we wouldn't have many customers left. When your product has a defect, people are going to be pissed and understandably so. This is a triple A title that performs absolutely horribly for me on Xbox One X with ESO on an SSD. Some of us have spent hundreds of real dollars and countless hours on the phones with our ISP trying to fix the crashes on our end to no avail.
To think that I have been playing this game for over 18 months and still crash to the xbox dashboard every day while simultaneously paying a $15 permium sub tier in order to not have to spend hours managing my inventory is absolutely mind-blowing. I and others have been reporting these Xbox crashes for months and months and months along with counltess other bugs that never get fixed.
To say that things don't get fixed because people are making (legitimate i might add) threads about game balance in PvP is total BS. They said at E3 that everyone at the office plays this game every day. If a single one of they plays on Xbox and stepped into Cyrodiil for even a second they could waltz into work the next day and tell everyone all about it.
Performance for this game is the worst I have ever seen for a Triple A title. I play a free MMO, TERA, on my Xbox one X and it has never ever ever ever crashed while ESO crashes daily, a game I pay for, pay a premium sub for, and have purchased a $100+ house for. So yeah, we are a LITTLE pissed off and tend to show it on the message boards.
I can promise you though that if any of the mods or devs fell insulted by my comments, just know that I feel infinitely more insulted after being given slop update after update while spending countless hours of my life and hundreds of real dollars on this game.
People are rude to you when they spend money on your product and it doesn't work properly. And the are entitled to do so, you screwed them over. It's just that simple.

I think we need to setup a GoFundMe page for ZOS, so they can afford a couple of consoles and an internet connection to play their own game at their headquarters.
