Jewelry Writ Inspiration Not Working

Turning in Writs for Jewelry Crafting are not providing any inspiration at all.

Today, character at 9140 when turning in writ. Reward for Writ of 6000 inspiration. After turning in, character STILL at 9140.

Come on.

Yes happens to me too on my main crafter, inspiration should be 16000 but it does nothing even though it displays the 16000 number on screen the actual xp doesnt move. It works ok for the lower level chars that only have jewelry crafting 5 or 9. Same problem happens with all addons disabled.

It apparently works as long as you are still lvl 1. Put a point or more in to craft high levels and we do not get inspiration anymore.

I expect it is a bug and it has been posted in the forums.

Same here. Inspiration only works for Level 1.

I confirm this. My main is level 42 in jewelry crafting with 4/5 skill points in engraver, and the skill line doesn't progress when handing over a writ.

After being advised by a friend yesterday, I tested this today as well, and confirmed the problem with my main who is at L38 of jewelry crafting skill (PC/NA). Submitted /bug 180602-003269.

first pic is before turning in the writ and the second pic is after having it turned it. I get no inspiration so i stay at the same XP/level

for me with different character engraver ranks handing in jewellery writs i got:

1/5 = inspiration gained
2/5 = no inspiration gained
3/5 = no inspiration gained
4/5 = no inspiration gained
5/5 = not tested. also requires rank 50 which has no need for inspiration gains

something else i also notice is both the metalworking crate and jewellery crate visually open when handing in the jewellery writs

okay so i tested it after the patch and it's still NOT WORKING!
This is getting frustrating.

It stays at 45166/58200 in both pics.

No change for me. Only my characters with 1/5 engraver rank are getting inspiration. All other engraver ranks give me nothing

Posted in a different thread earlier, but just confirming we're working on getting this fixed and hope to have the fix rolled out in the next incremental patch.

That would be challenging to figure out. I expect they can but it would require having everyone affected submit a ticket and then combing through their accounts to find out what writs they did, what level, etc.

It is still worth doing them for all the items we get. I will be doing them daily on all characters with all different ranks of engraver

You get inspiration at the first level when doing writs. It is higher levels of jewelry crafting that does not provide inspiration from the writ.

Beyond that it is your choice.

FYI: The JC writ inspiration issue (not working other than tier 1 mats) is confirmed fixed (tested ok for me) in incremental patch 4.0.9 on June 11 (PC/NA). The patch for consoles may be another week or two.
