I still get the odd green/blue food/drink recipe and blue motif, but little more than trash for 3+ days now. The best items from the past few days have been a few 1.5k blue furniture recipes I already knew, but not a single Alinor. Something definitely changed for me - such a shame...
During the first week of early access one could enter--leave--re enter the vault on the same character to find the wardrobes fully reset. Now (after the first small patch about a weekish ago) when you do that over half of the wardrobes haven't reset. The amount of lockpicks you get from them have also been increased. The only way to get them to almost fully reset now is alternating characters.
Better to not tell anyone so they think it's rng, rather than state the change and *** the farmers off. They did something similar with Morrowind and the CWC. Motif drop rates were pretty decent during the first day or two, then suddenly they became next to non-existent. The only reason the same hasn't happened with Summerset is because zeni made the crafting materials needed for Alinor recipes scarce and expensive instead~
Yes, the drop rate has definitely fallen off, and I agree on the wardrobes resetting only partially now. Alternating characters is the way to go now, but unfortunately it means extra exposure to the ridiculous ads. I'm glad I held on to the plans I got rather than dumping them on the market for peanuts like so many already have. And nobody is really buying them, with the bottleneck on the Culanda lacquers. A lot of folks I talk to are actually decorating the new houses with the easier to make Redguard style furnishings.

The prices on the plans people are selling need to come down a fair bit more before a lot of people will start buying them. Give it a month when prices get more decent and you may see things starting to sell.

Blue Alinor plans are going for 20k (I've bought some for less), and purples for 100k on PC. I don't really envision them getting much lower, personally. There's little demand for them, because people don't want to grind or pay through the nose for style mats, so the PC market is already glutted with unused blueprints.
There’s over 60 wardrobes in that one room in traitors vault. I been farming it quiet a bit. Just yesterday I realized I could log out then back in to have them reset. About 80% of them are usually lootable.......but nothing in them but trash. Can almost get a blue motif every time but they’re worthless. White gear that is absolutely worthless and pointless to even be in the game.
Juju_beans wrote: »I don't think traitor's vault is all that great. I've found more plans just plain old looting.
Had a delve daily there today so I did the wardrobe room. One white old plan and 42 lock picks.
I ran through it last night (console) and pulled 5 blue alinor, one purple alinor, several purple base game, lots of blue food recipes, and a blue sketch in about 2 hours of grinding. (Rotated between 7 characters, in sequence, to make sure the wardrobes fully reset by the time I got back around to the first one.)

They are owned before you start Quest - just fyi.
For those who are farming the wardrobes and want to do it as efficiently as possible, I've found that quickslotting the memento "Amalexia's enchanted lantern" really lights up the corridor and allows you to easily see which wardrobes are open/empty as you approach them. This saves half a second or so, maybe a couple seconds on the ones tucked behind book stacks that you might otherwise try to target before you realize they're empty.
This also allows you to see those fallen 2" diameter candle holders that your elite, Sload-slaughtering warrior can't physically step over, and makes it easier to avoid them.
