Don't forget the bugs...they were at least pretty funny. The somewhat mechanized voices I think they used as placeholders were silly too. One thing that bothers me every time I go through the main story is how they changed the scene where the prophet shows Mannimarco's betrayal. The original one was kind of overdramatic, but they should have kept it "Akatosh have mercy on our soullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllssssssssssss". Now it just lacks impact...ZOS should bring back that clip! Who complained about it? Why was it changed?

My brother still has lots of recordings from that period but they have that watermark on them...Like the teleportation failing and lifting everyone in the sky then dropping them to their deaths. Seeing a bunch of dead players littered around never gets old...

In the process of Crowning my Guild Leader Venithar who never gave Emperor away after taking it. People wanted him to drop it so they can see its abilities. He thought that was a bad Idea. I was a High Elf Dragon Knight who had no idea what to do. I was a DK healer.. In beta

Also I was running on low settings because my new computer hadnt come yet.

Closed beta here too with a monkey as well.
I remember the dance parties in Daggerfall.

Didn't play much right after the game launched because of the issues, but maintained the sub and started playing more when they started getting things straightened out.

Played the beta with my girlfriend, but didn't pick up the game (we were both heavily invested in FFXIV at the time).

I started afresh on PS4, then switched to PC a year later. Alas, my beta monkey is floating around on the account I forgot I'd already made, so I doubt I'll ever get it. My GF has her's though.

I'm in the 2013 club. Hmm...
I really liked beta because it was elderscrolls and it was online. However, time it launched I was super disappointed because it wasn't really elderscrolls. Trolls (not the grieffer types) was the start of my disappoint, and disenfranchisment from the game. They got rid of that honking sound, and made them super easy. In Oblivion and even Skyrim Trolls were scary monsters that have trapped not only me but roommates on high rocks that the AI couldn't figure out how to climb up... Trolls were a big nostalgic monster for me, and ESO effed them all up. I was also disappointed in crafting, mainly a lack of. No spell crafting, poison crafting, no scrolls... no underwater fighting wtf... no necromancy, no speech craft (for npcing at better rates)the list could go on ... after beta once it went live, I felt it was really Elderscrolls in name only. Don't get me wrong it had its moments, I love PVP back then. It wasn't for me and I quit... for a while.

I came back some time before Marrowind went live. We had gotten houses and poison crafting and a few other things. It still feels like it's EiNO, but it's also its own thing. Elderscrolls is a RPG, it has its own balancing concerns that allows them do what they do. ESO, it's a MMO, it can't be as epic. I had to learn that in order to enjoy ESO as ESO.

Don't get me wrong if Bedesa(sp?) You know what we going to make a real Online Elderscroll that's based mechanics of either 3-5(take your pick I don't care) I'm there.

My first day of beta: I start in Stros M'Kai and I run up the hill to the crafting area and there's 2 dudes pretending to have sex. Both naked, one doing the sleep emote and the other doing the pushups emote. And of course they were talking smack.

So I got to test out the account wide ignore feature pretty quick. First impressions, ZoS...

I had never played an MMO but loved TES, so was terrified the first time I logged in during Beta that Id be instantly pummelled to a pulp by players in all zones and have my hopes dashed of enjoying the newest TES game! Still here! But still get pummelled to a pulp in PvP...

Yesss! One from Barcelona here! Played since beta, only 1 year of break because it was very hard for me to work, study and play. I'm still in love with this game and I hope it will become better than now.
