For the skills arnt and issue as stated above plenty of skyshards to get her done my main issue is a lack of reliable resources of what I need. Kinda getting tired of running around looking for resources when there is none to be had cause the rest keep taking theme.

Try the starter zones like Bal Foyen or Stros M'Kai. They have the same number of nodes as the bigger zones and are much closer together.

I mean, will Summerset Isle alone have enough attainable sky shards and skill points to keep in line with the new jewelry crafting skill-line and Psijic Order Guild skill-line?
The Morrowind "Chapter" brought 18 sky shards, whereas "DLCs" typically bring 6 each (Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, and Clockwork City), and 17 from Orsinium and 13 from Imperial City.

There are currently 405 sky shards in the game (including all Tamriel faction zones, Coldharbour, Cyrodiil, and all currently available DLC), 405 sky shards total equals out to only 135 skill points. All passives for all crafting skills alone is 100+ skill points already. 6 of my 9 characters already have 405/405 sky shards. Every single one. *shrug*

Is there an up-to-date master-list guide anywhere on the total number of attainable skill-points currently available?
One that includes all sky shards, skill-points from story quest rewards, skill points from pvp ranks, skill points from the public dungeon group-event bosses, skill points from the group-dungeon/delve quests, and skill points any other source that I have not thought of?

I will not have enough skill points come summerset. I used them for legimate reasons but I would need become almost an overlord in PvP if jelewery crafting requires too many skill points. In fact, I am removing vampire passive to share bites next patch. Honestly though those now 2 missing skill points seem super important now.

My master crafter is now going through all the Clockwork City quests just for the skill points, because she's already gone through literally every delve in the game, and many of the 4-man dungeons.

Yeah, it would be nice to have a few extra skill points with Summerset.

Having collected every single skyshard in the game, I have plenty enough points to max out every crafting tree, my two weapon passives, racial, guild, class and world passives/skills with almost 60 points left over...soo, the moral of the story is.. the skill points are out there en-mass..just go hunt them down

The issue with people pointing out all the skill points in the game is that a number of them aren't easily reachable for a casual player, such as the skill points in the harder DLC dungeons, or in Cyrodiil. It wouldn't hurt to have a few extra available in Summerset. It'll give people more options for more easily-obtainable skill points, and that's not a bad thing.

That is usually where id o go don't get me wrong they good sources but they could do better there too in the game over all. Event hose places are starting to get to the point of drying up sorta speak. When you get too many going threw an area makes that much harder for other to get if the nodes don't respawn fast enough.

My main is a crafter, has 8 extra skill points but only way I can get more skill points atm is through pvp. That and story for imperial city. Already retraited to get some skill points back from woodworking when it was finished for researching because I wanted to test another morph of another ability and was not satisfied with another ability.
If you want to be a crafter and as a main it takes a lot of skill points... so yeah.

This. I have 13 skill points unused on my main crafter. If I take points out of skills I don't use I would have more than enough to cover for the new skill lines.

This main is master crafter, healer /DD and dd with pvp skills.
She is also an completionist. having all public / group dungeons and quests.
Do not assign skill points to stuff you don't use or need.
TG / DB is obvious sacrifices while giving plenty of skill points.

Summerset is going to push the total skill points in the game to over 400.

You should not have any issues, @Troneon, if you're diligent between now and the May 21st patch drop.

They always have skill points in DLCs/Chapters. I don't think this will be any different.

I hope its going to be enough through summerset alone, because I will literally have to drop parts of some skill lines i AM using right now, in order to max out jewelry crafting. for the reference, on my crafter, the only skill points I'm still missing are from pvp (and those are the ones that are starting to take considerable time investment and grind, I already have the early ones) and 2 from DLC dungeons, which I will probably have to beg myself into on that particular character. and yes, I dropped research boosters on her already.

just because YOU are not using those skill points, doesn't mean other people do not.

You have to take 50 skill points away from any pve player bc how dare they have to go to pvp the horrible place they can die in.

So I can see it hard to have every skill line and max crafting like I do and still have 20 skill points not even used.

I think the point is that with both jewelry crafting and the psijic skill line coming, we will be spending more skill points than we will be gaining in the new content. Will there be enough to cover all our needs overall? For sure. If this continues at this pace in future content, will it eventually lead to us actually having to make some tough choices for where to place our skill points? Definitely.

Basically, this update alone isn't going to destroy skill point allocation, but if this is the new direction that the game is headed in the future, it may be an issue later on.

There's more than enough. You only have the right to complain if you've already obtained every skill point.

My main is a master crafter, no shortage of skill points, all the passives are unlocked and he has all the skills required for PVE and PVP. Just a non-convincing point all around.

Players have over a month to gain skill points if they start now ... rather than not do anything about it and complain in the forums.

My main crafter has enough skill points to max out crafting and still do vMA. This will not change when Summerset drops and the skill line is added.

Moreover, PC players have the advantage of skill point tracking add-ons ... such as Ulrich's Skill Point Finder.

I can see both sides. But I think there are more areas people can squeeze out skill points if they look hard enough.

EXAMPLE: My sorc is one of my primary crafters. Her skill set doesn't use summons, So there's a few passives in the summons tree that I can get rid of, opening up a few points. I can squeeze a few more out of other passives that simply aren't being used atm. there are even a few skills in each tree that I really don't use (rare bird situations), that I could move points out of just fine until I get JC and Psyjic done and metered out.

There may even be passives in the Psyjic line that aren't always needed depending on what you use in that skill line. I could certainly PvP to get some extra skill points, but to be honest I just don't really PvP. so I'll probably just get everything I can solo (and group stuff), and thin my skill lines out until I get a feel for the JC and Psyjic skill lines.

Yo anyone who hasn't reached Grand Overlord shouldn't be acting like those are just 50 free skill points lying around. I've done it once, on my main, and it took years of playing at a good clip. Only the first five or so come easily, the curve is steep.
