Power of the light/Purifying light should only stack your own damage

It should, theres no counterplay against this skill. Cant dodge it cant block it cant cloak it you can just try to avoid damage

There is counterplay against this ability; its called Purge/Cleanse...

You have 6 seconds to do it which is plenty of time...

I know many of you out there don't want to adapt to deal with abilities that are used to kill you, but IMHO, if you choose not to use a counter to this ability (which is available to all), then that's on you...

I've been saying this since it was announced.

YES only buffs the caster's damage
NO doesn't need to be blocked, dodged or shielded since the original damage was already mitigated

I honestly don't think it needs a 1v1 buff on it's own, templars need better damage elsewhere so they can maximize this skill when they play well and are spec'd for damage. They could raise the damage cap but as long as pokey sticks tickles and rarely does a full channel of damage in pvp, raising the damage cap doesn't help templars much.

And this is true for stamplars as well. The other day I was rolling around on a magplar, encountered a stamplar. We fought for a good 5 minutes trading Light and CC + bursts and couldn't kill each other until a nightblade came along and sniped me and ended that miserable fight. We were both using class skills mostly + Dawnbreaker.

How about a decent single target ult for templar?!
