How to solve this problem?

Sometimes I'll accidentally hit the hide UI button which is above my enter key then press enter accidentally, then hit the UI button again to show the UI but then nothing works and all I get is a mouse cursor, it never goes back the same. I have to hold the right mouse button to turn and navigate, I can't talk in chat any more and it's just not normal but all my spells will still work but it's hard to use when I can't turn.

The only way I could fix this problem is force exiting the game, I was wondering if there was another way to fix this without having to do that? I'm guessing I'll just have to find another key out of the way to prevent this from ever happening but I was comfortable with it and use it a lot when I take screen shots. But maybe there's something I'm missing like another key to press to make it go back to normal or it's just a bug with the game? Thanks for any help

No solution but experienced this myself.

Can't accidentally press anything while UI turned off otherwise it has a heart attack.

If you are not deliberately turning UI off (which it sounds like) probably just reassign it to a random key.

Ah lol thank you, I guess it's bug within the game so I'll just have to move the key out of the way so it doesn't happen again, thank you!

Unbind UI buttons .

So I tested this, unbinding the UI button did not fix the problem, the problem is still there. You're also the second poster to comment the same exact thing which wasn't needed but thank you anyways. I use the hide UI all the time so I have decided to just move the hide UI button out of the way on the keyboard where I never accidentally click it.

If that doesn't work, there are some addons that allow you to reload your UI. That always fixes it for me when this happens.

After you've reapplied your UI, click on the name of the current chat channel in the chat box. That will make it usable again.

Yes try to whisper someone by clicking their name. That usually fixes it for me
