I'm honestly still waiting for someone to enlighten me as to why a high level crafter needs to farm low level mats.
Make equipment for friends/newer players. They often don't have the materials themselves.

the amount of mats are so small you can just buy them from a guild trader

Do you really want to change the entire game so you can go out and farm 10 ash ?

I would like leveled zones but not minor level changes throughout the area. If each zone was designated with a level range and then every enemy there could be anywhere in that range based on your level i would enjoy that.

For instance say stormhaven was 10-20. A level 5 going there would see all level 10s no matter where they went in stormhaven. A level 14 would see 14s and a lvl 21 or higher sees lvl 20s.

After such a change though one would need a "hard mode" zone such as with the cadwells silver and gold back in the vet level days. Such a setting would bring the enemies up to cp160+ level of difficulty, maybe even trials mob level. Being able to turn that on for any zone would help the feelings of being too OP or making a high level pointless to go to a low level area

levelled zones means 90% of the base game content is literally useless at level 50. It makes most of the map a huge waste of game-play.

yes but while that 90% of zones would be waste product for most folks who have played the game for more than a month, high end crafters would be able to go to one zone or another and FARM low level mats for the times they need to craft low end gear for those who dont pick it up themselves along the way... instead of them going to the nearest guild trader next to a shrine and just buying it for a few gold.

So it is just near impossible to see why that 90% cannot just suck it up and let this revert back to the good old days.

heck, i am hoping that when jewelry crafting comes in there will be other changes such as letting you use the mats you farm to make their level or lower - so that all these poor oppressed high end crafters can just farm the anywhere any zone mats and then just dial the crafting down at the table to make the low end gear.

Then i just *know* all these threads for "reset everybody else so i get the old way" would go away because its not actually about mat sale prices.
