Craglorn is the closest you'll get. Craglorn got nerfed because the player base on the whole has very little interest in forced grouping.

What i was talking was not about grouping, soloing or player vs player really. I think the game should have options to all and certain areas like delves and such should also adjust to players needs wh9ich they partially do by staying on players level though they could also scale to number of players inside as should many other stuff.

But its not really that, but the risk vs gain aspect which has nothing to do with PVP vs PVE aspect but with the meaningless penalties the game imposes. The risk is the same if you go to dungeon or to a PVP zone. Death comes easily to players in both places. What is wrong right now, is that the death ppenalty simply does ntt force players to do anything differently. They can and will die time after time as long as the endless supply of soul gems last. The game needs some death penalty that really takes away something meaningless from players which they then have to work their way to get back. Not something as dramatic as we have in EVE, but something in between.

I've got good news and bad news.

The Tamriel Skyshard Hunter achievement doesn't require Imperial City, just all the skyshards in the base game - the good news. The bad news is that the base game includes Cyrodiil, including 4 skyshards locked behind the enemy gates. You'll have to wait for your faction to capture and hold the enemy's back keeps to get the gates to open before you can go back there to try for the skyshard.

Thanks for not reporting fake news. I know all of this already. I was simply responding to what the poster above my last post had said.

I will always support the idea of keeping PvE and PvP separate :)
Pure PvE version of IC would be amazing - to explore this creepy area and actually enjoy the view, watch the wildlife and know that the scariest thing you can meet is flag boss - and even then, you can successfully run away if accidentally aggroed it :D

There's a lot of great questing in imperial city. Roaming bosses, different currency. Can we please get a pve zone like imperial city?

I would love that and i would even pay for that.

also i would love to see the whole city wiouth daedras and so on like on Oblivion, becasue the Imperal city is having so much potention in pve side questing, not to mention i would love to hang out there with others, doing role play, questing, wiouth any pvp interfearances.

I hate free eso+ trial (I don't pay for sub anyway), everyone are enjoying IC and I can't farm tel var stones without running into zerg from my faction or gankers from other! xD I saw low level banana couple playing together, they looked so cute, but my dawnbreaker fired itself and now I feel bad. :( What is this thread about btw? I hope not about another "great" idea like craglorn which was nerfed to the ground due to emptiness.

    What's a banana couple?

I'm curious about heading into IC. The first time I heard IC was a pvp zone I was a bit miffed because I loved IC in Oblivion and was looking forward to seeing it in ESO. I'm now accepting of it, and was glad to hear there is some PvE stuff there too. I like to dabble in PvP. In Aion I did quite a bit of it, but at heart I am a PvE'er, that said I'll zerg with the best of them if I have to, and it looks like in order to get some telvar things for the new storage, I'll have to. My crafter isn't master yet, and I already spend too much on crowns.

No it's the rush of dealing with other players that makes it fun for YOU. The OP obviously has an aversion to PVP, and frankly I'd kill for a proper PVE Cyrodil and Imperial City expansion as well since Cyrodil has always been my favorite part of the Elder Scrolls universe.

finaly some one gets the point. For the PVP-ers dont come with this bull sheet you are not doing pve we all know you are all lieing about that.

PvPers never understand PvErs and vice versa. All PvP zones will remain forever under restrictions for many PvE players. We never gona see that territories and this is sad. I generaly hate PvP for some reasons (despite i have Explorer title lol) so i also want PvE Cyro.

Just had a thought, why not realize this in the Sheogorad region? It's still missing from Vvardenfell, and considering they keep adding battlegrounds to that chapter nobody is asking for, there's no excuse not to add something to the PvE-side of Morrowind.
Dagon Fel could be a kind of safe-zone with merchant NPCs. The region also offers a variety of locations for sub-dungeons, like Ald Redaynia (Velothi Tower), Ald Daedroth (Daedric Ruin), Rotheran (Dunmer Stronghold), Mzuleft (Dwemer ruin) and several ancestral tombs.

A banana couple is two Aldmeri Dominion players out for a lovely moonlit stroll through the wartorn streets of the Imperial City, smelling th eflowers, gathering Tel Var and getting ruthlessly slaughtered by someone with a Dawnbreaker.

Risk is annoying. Many PvEers like me barely, if ever, go there. I dont care about stones, just want to get quests and world bosses done. I don't want some fool with little man syndrome coming up and killing me for no apparent reason and I'm certainly no challenge, so no one is a winner. Make a pve version that is devoid of any pvp rewards so we can enjoy the area in peace.

PvPers shouldn't be forced to pve and vice versa.

Pay the risk or no rewards. IC without the loss of ya stones, it wldn't be the same. It's the rush of dealing with other players that makes it fun. :*

For some, for others, not so much. I greatly dislike PvP as i'm older now and don't really feel like dealing with that sort of stress after a 9 hour day at work. When I was young and spry, sure it was good fun, but not anymore.

i understand that this is the only dlc dedicated to people who are into PVP and and PvE'ers have huge amounts of content already
i just hate that the one thing thats restricted to me from playing as a solo PvE player is the imperial city, which is such an awesome and interesting area (not to mention a throwback to the game oblivion which i loved) full of lore and info on the ESO storyline. and I will never get to fully enjoy that because its intended for people who love ganking and thrill of stealing stones

i knew i would run into this problem eventually with ESO being an online game and all. just sucks they had to take away the imperial city from pve'ers
i just wish there was some way for me to enjoy that place on my own like any other zone so i can't really convince myself it's worth buying

If you want 100% guaranteed no PVP, you'd need ZOS to give you a PVE-only instance.

I was able to do the Imperial City questline without facing any enemy players and mostly solo. I had prepared for PVP, but I did the quest on a mostly empty campaign and was prepared to stealth around. That being said, I never actually saw any enemy players.

I was also able to do most of the questline solo, and I'd expect that if you can solo difficult content like Maelstrom or World Bosses, you should be okay on the Arena and Temple District bosses as long as you bring repair kits. I had to ask a friend to be my pocket healer on the Arena boss because I got tired of dying on my admittedly squishy toon and was running low on repair kits. It would definitely be easier to finish in a group, which can also be a deterrent to PVPers looking for easier or lone targets.

Yeah no thanks.. until they change this place its a waste of code... Good luck with the ganking crap..

When you are in IC you're not a PvE player anymore you're PvP player. Welcome to to PvP.

Thats why no one goes there outside of events.. enjoy... a dead zone 24/7

    Shoegorad Needs to happen. Need.

The fact that it was not part of Morrowind is troubling. Should be added in in a future patch.

Yep. And why some of us, when forced to go there for the skyshards and fishing, will go out of our way to not do anything to collect any stones, so it will be guaranteed to be a hollow victory if someone decides to kill us while we sit there.

Heh. I only collect stones and AP on one girl (nope, she doesn't pvp - it's just the freebies, but they all go to her). And she will never be anywhere near Cyrodiil. Really, none of my girls will be anywhere near Cyrodiil. I despise pvp, and I don't care anything about achievements or fishing, there's plenty of other skyshards, so no worries.

@Sylvermynx If you ever change your mind about going after the Cyrodiil skyshards with her, you don't have to risk your TV stones anyway, you can bank them (you can bank AP, too). First thing I do when they are given away as a login reward, just in case I have to go to IC for a master writ and run into someone.

Ooooo - thank you Minyassa! I didn't know that.... the things you just don't know about a game you haven't played a long time yet!
