Coldharbour Surreal Estate has a surprising lack of Azure Plasm!

Let me first say that I currently love Coldharbour Surreal Estate, as it will make for the perfect place for my upcoming vampire lair, though I will ask for one single improvement:

Can we please have a place upon this beautiful floating isle that can become a 'lake' of azure plasm? Aka the chaotic creatia that is supposidly the 'water' of Coldharbour. This home, while grand and large as it should be, could really benefit from such an addition, as it allows for our creative minds to create some awesome things with it.

I'm outright begging you, give the Coldharbour Surreal Estate a lake of Azure Plasm, that we may bathe and swim in!

I would not be surprised to see such a pool get added to the Crown Store, perhaps when they do a daedra-themed furnishing pack.

God I hope it comes out with the update itself. Though I'll still prefer if it arrived with some azure plasm, rather than none at all.

It's a massive empty map that a second rate modder could make. While I appreciate some would love it, if they charge more than a few thousand crowns it is an epic rip off given it likely took one intern less than four hours to make. If they charge more than 5k for it (which I think is still too steep) question your sanity in buying it. It is literally a slab of land with some coloring, some standard textures and a few trees. Not even a single attempt to make it interesting, creative or even look like they care about anything but shoving money in their wallet.

Their are some very cool structures in cold harbour and they could have added more to this, not even a lot more but enough to make it look like more than a slab of land. It's sort of sad that they didn't even try. It has so much potential that was squandered because they are lazy.

I have a question for those that are excited for this:

Have you actually toured it and then actually taken into account your options for building it up? Because I can guarantee you that your options are next to nothing.

So what are you actually going to do with this 1 million gold port to Coldharbor? (Because as it stands, that's all it's good for)

Yeah, if ZOS charges $50-150 for this, it will represent a new low.

    Yes, yes I have.

And granted, if my calculations are correct, I need 36 daedric platforms and aprox 14 velothi mountain rocks to create a seamless, yet cozy cavern from the portals entrance. That leaves me with 650 slots for furnishings.

What coldharbour home brings is permanent night time, an omnious mood music and most beneficial of all, abflat ground for us to build upon FOR OUR OWN CREATIVITY =D

I agree that if you want anything larger than something cozy, you're screwed by the item cap in this one. But for my project, it will be nearly perfect. All i wish it had extra is a lake of azure plasm, and perhaps a waterfall too with it.

While I do agree that the options were wider, I'll also say that its refreshingly nice to have somewhere that allows for a deeper construction on our own.

Granted.... that would mean far more had the furnishing cap been increased by *2 or *3, which it definitely should be sometime.

With the 3 Houses, Coldharbor Estate is the only one which have the prise in gold instead the other where there is only the price in Crown

Coldharbor is for 1 Million gold

My daughter and I actually had quite a bit of fun playing "minecraft" on the Surreal Estate. There is a lot of room and it has a 700 item cap, so you can build more than you think.

I can also see it being a good place for a guild setting up all the attuned crafting stations since you have so much flat areas to organize it. Since it costs gold it would be easy to take a quick collection and buy it.

It could also be a good dueling arena...

I know it won't be for everybody, but I am actually tempted to buy it because it is just a blank slate that I can build on.

You will be able to buy the home for 1 million gold if you have beaten the main storyline. The equivalent crown price would logically be between 5500 to 6000 crowns, which is a flat rate of $55-60 if you don't count crown sales or savings with larger crown packs.

As cool as this is, and doubly cool that it's available for gold, I was really hoping for a small home in the Hollow City. I don't need/want a gigantic blank slate, but I'm glad there's an option for those that do - and that it can be purchased with gold. :)

Only thing I dislike about this house is pavement - looks very out of place, would be better to just make all solid ground texture. Some water addition wouldn't hurt too :) Maybe in future we will have access to some landscape design tools so we can customize it on our own?

But this will be the first house I'm actually loving - no buildings and nasty structures limiting my ideas <3 Large empty land in my fav zone, finally I will have my own mysterious forest there! And the best thing - everyone can buy it without need to pay real money, this is amazing and can't come soon enough!

While its a nice bunch of items, their hollowed style and dreaded look really does not make them fit well outside of Coldharbour, unfortunately.

While that is not a negative per-say, its definitely a loving touch that its purchasable with gold. I'm just sincerely hoping that they can add in some Azure Plasm before release.

Played around with the estate last night. Found that you can go 20 stories up. The balcony with the plank is just barely under the ceiling limit.

Some reason having troubles getting screenshots to work. Got the screenshots to work in windowed mode.

Set it to Primary Residence and open access if you want to go check it out.

btw, you can flip the huge rocks, they have a fairly smooth bottom if you are looking to create or level some ground. If I had figured that out sooner I would used those mainly to create the ground with some planks/ platforms to fill in the gaps. Would decrease Item count. Also would have a turn every three levels, easier to see as a whole from ground I think.
