As stated, there are plenty of ways to get them from PVE (Normal trial farming on multiple toons being the best), but PVP is certainly the best. PVE'ers by definition like running and rerunning the same content. If they didnt, they wouldnt last long in this game. Most PVP'ers have no interest in doing any of that. I think it can shorten their PVE grind a bit and at the same time, encourage more PVE'ers to venture into Cyrodiil. Sounds like a win/win to me.
Like most people, i was in a mad rush to change a bunch of stuff when crystals first launched. Now that the initial push is behind me, it honestly doesnt matter as much. I typically sit somewhere near the cap for crystals, and every time I get close to 200, I change one more weapon that I probably wont ever use anyway (i mean, how many Nirnhoned VMA bows do I really need). I think people are making the problem out to be bigger than it is.
2 points;
1) those who pvp more often and ask for changes has NEVER hurt pve. U have always been able to and still are able to faceroll pve content
2) battle spirit is already in the game. Its zos fault, NOT the players, that zos chooses not to seperate skills from pve to pvp

@DarkAedin
Point one is completely false. After the morrowind changes, which were 1000% pvp related, most trial guilds essentially had to re-progress through content they had on farm at the time. Good groups went from being able to Farm VMOL HM, to having to essentially start from progression from the beginning. This issue was so prevalent that it caused many established PVE raid teams to disband after morrowind. I was on 2 of them.
Also, get off your high horse that all PVE content is a Faceroll. Unless you can show me a no death speedrun of every hardmode trail and arena, you have no business talking. Your average pickup trial group of decent players can probably do about 2 of the 6 of the trials on vet HM without much issue, and some of that content has been out for years. VAS +2 can still only be completed by a handful of groups in the world across multiple platforms.

@Oreyn_Bearclaw
The specific change you are talking about happened bc zos didnt want players in either pve or pvp to be able to spam abilities without having any issues with resource management. This is actually more on pve'ers with infinite sustain in normal dps builds. Amd i know all about these changes. My stamplar main was hit worse then anything else in the game.
And ur going to say that there are 3 trials that are actually difficult. Forgetting about the rest of the entire game..... Ehhhh. Im more inclined to say that 99% of the playerbase doesnt really care about top dps, builds, or learning more about rotations. They get spoonfed information and dont try to learn by themselves. Or care to. And thats fine. But dont deny this game's pve is a complete faceroll for those of us seasoned gamers.

I do deny it. I will concede that overland content and a large portion of 4 man content, even on vet, does fall into the faceroll category, but that is not true of any content that has a leader board associated with it. For most serious PVE'ers, that is what matters.
Well I can say I take like 2 weeks for doing undaunted dailies (vet) and I don't get anywhere near as much a reward as doing 1 or 2 hours of pvp cyrodiil. The system is broken I am afraid for transmute crystals.
Caligamy_ESO wrote: »I don't get this imbalance either. PVP players now don't have to touch PVE at all for their transmute crystal supply, and they would be wiser not to because its nearly a waste of time by comparison. Also people are doing PVP on one character and stocking up rewards of the worthy emails and then opening those mails on characters who have nothing to do with PVP so that they can get the first daily bonus each time, which seems awfully exploity and ZOS has said and done nothing about it so I can only assume they don't care. (or they are surprisingly oblivious.. but they can't be THAT oblivious.. I hope)
Then whenever someone brings up this balance the PVP crowd comes and throws it in the face of PVE players telling them nothing is stopping them from doing PVP. Except for the whole intense burning hatred of constant zerging, lagging, load screens, hacks/expoits, macro-slicing, teabagging idiots who reside there.
PVE needs to have a better reward quantity or PVP needs to be brought in line with the rest of the game, its as simple as that.

Again, you are looking at transmute crystals alone. In those 2 weeks you have also gotten 63 helms, 126 undaunted keys, 63+ jewellery set pieces, a large number of set items (with a chance of dropping in the traits you need so will not require transmuting), much more gold, etc.
Now compare all the rewards you got with doing PVE with the rewards you got from PVP for the same time spent in game,. Which is effectively, enough AP for a couple helmets in impen Only, no undaunted keys, a few set pieces that are rarely of use, hardly any gold, and far more transmute crystals.
Looking at the whole, Those extra transmute crystals that PVPers are getting, still do not outweigh the rewards PVEers are getting IMHO. (And for clarification I do both PVE and PVP, so don't have a dog in this fight.)
And that's without taking into consideration other factors. Such as, getting the right trait on armour pieces is one of the driving factors behind getting PVEers to do dailies. If suddenly they have enough crystals to transmute their sets, that incentive ceases to exist, and certain dungeons will be dead. And the fact that the PVP population (due to neglect on Zos' part) is dwindling, so having transmute crystal drop far more frequently in Cyrodiil acts as an incentive for people to try (or go back to) PVP.
So?
Seriously, why whine about it? Does it really bother you so much that you want zos to nerf PvP crystal gain? (Because that's who the balancing bat would be swung)
If you want to specifically farm tranny crystals then do PvP. Otherwise you get them for free from doing the PvE content that you normally would.
