Maybe it was a crown crate then? I got. Pocket Mammoth and the mastiff. I opened my crown crates the same day as the event started so I could be confusing that reward.

Yeah pocket mammoth is 16 gems, and the mastiff isn't on the store I don't think

I've been grinding this event with 5 toons since the start and haven't had any luck at all. No costumes, no mount, no pet, no motifs... Just getting vendor trash, repair kits and undaunted keys. Now, i'm not saying I don't like free stuff. Its just I think that this event could have been better.

Its like....if you're going to hold an event like this, how about instead of putting stuff like maps and trash you can get in game already with gold, into the loot table, maybe put actual crown items into it --> costumes, mounts, pets. Like you made everyone think that would be what you'd be getting. But when 80% of the loot table is junk you can buy with gold in game...it kinda makes you feel like you've been ripped off.

So I kind of feel like I've wasted the last 5 days of my life.

Im hoping that the Mastif and the Warhorse come to the Crown Store soon and its not locked behind this event. My only concern if that is true is that theyre using this event to hype the horse so they can slap it with a steep asking price.

Pretty disappointed to be honest.

The two dungeons I had the motivation to run, it took me over an hour to get a Dungeon to queue up in the Random dungeon finder. then, when it finally found me a group, both runs were the same dungeon.

Then, when I got my "Uber Special Mystery Loot Box", they held pure crap, and a bunch of stuff I will never use.

The first one I just chalked up to RNG bad luck. The second box that had just as bad of a crap selection, killed my motivation to run any more Dungeons in the "Event".

These s**t event is my second biggest disappointment in the game since beta taking place right after the Morrowind expansion.

As always great job to marketing/promotion team, shame on everyone else who is in charge of letting these event going live the waiy as it is right now.

I finally, finally got a costume today, after something like 15 dungeons. It's "Treasure Hunter." Yay!
Even without that, the dungeons haven't been a total waste, though, because it's gotten me a bunch of skill points I wouldn't have otherwise gotten, on several characters. (From the dungeon quests.)

I was thrilled to get a free costume ( blacksmith ) I also got a green CWC furnishing recipe;

to be honest though the best part is that I'm not so afraid if running instances; I had never done it prior to this event other then one or twice early on. I did some reading in the forums before the event went live to get some tips ( glad I learned that frost staff is a tank weapon before I did nay runs lol ) then I joined some guild groups and things have gone fantastic!

IT will be sad when the mystery boxes disappear but I think running instances will be come a weekend event for me going forward . I really enjoy this game and to find a new exciting area to play in that I had previously decided wasnt for me is such a treat.

There was a group finder issue. It is now back to at least a working state. This is of course just my own experience.

The rewards have been useful. Crown repair kits are great.

Overall I give this event a meh..I am right in the middle..

Pretty disappointed if I am being honest. We have had prior event where I thought the loot was actually pretty good. I ran 6 characters through on friday, 12 on Saturday, and the best thing I got was a costume that I never thought was worth spending crowns on in the first place. I didnt bother on Sunday. The rewards were frankly garbage.

All they had to do was give more than one Transmute stone per mail and I would have been alright with it.

I voted that I was disappointed with the event. I would say 80% of that disappointment comes with the high expectations that were set with the announcement. I can handle crappy drop rates. That's life, but it was such a limited offering. They made it sound like everything that ever was would be in play and that you might have a chance at it. That simply wasn't the case. It boiled down to 1 mount, one pet, and I think 4 outfits.

I have two accounts that I actively play. I had 14 unused character slots between the two. I Ieveled 14 characters to level 10 and set them up with gear and food and CP assignments so they would be ready to go. And they were. It took a lot of time and effort. I would never have gone to that effort if they had been more transparent about the items that were going to be available during the event.

Now I want to finish on a positive note. Despite forum reports to the contrary, my personal experience with Groupfinder has been very good throughout the event. I believe I only had one phantom queue. The wait times even for DPS were not bad at all. That part of the event far exceeded my expectations and I'm hopeful that the trend will continue beyond the event.

^ 2nd, I wouldn't mind a crappy reward every now and then but 12/14 crappy rewards is just to much per day imo

The loot pool itself was the biggest problem. Anyone who has ever opened a crown crate would rightly expect 99% unwanted consumables, but we were lead to believe that there was a bunch of great stuff possible. The original announcement over a month ago specifically mentioned “rare mounts, pets, etc” as possible rewards, in addition to the 20 mount/house packages. I don’t want to call anyone a liar, but this statement just does not reflect the reality of what is actually available. There is one mount and one pet, so you either get it or you don’t. Pass/fail. No trading your cool but unwanted drop for someone else’s cool but unwanted drop, which even Burnt Stick Festival let you do. And no amount of additional effort will bring you what you want, IF you even like the one mount or the one pet. So yes, I’m very disappointed. This so-called ‘event’ over-hyped and under-delivered.

First time I'm actually playing in over a month and will probably be gone again after this...not disappointed per se because wasn't really expecting much, but there does seem to be way too much junk. Like c'mon...you can go good 50+ crates and get not one item you can actually use. Not only that, some of the items are essentially of negative value as they're just clogging up precious bagspace(crown store consumables that do not even stack with crown store-bought consumables be one such example).

On bright side, I did get Dark Shaman costume which is kind of neat I suppose, even though I wasn't particularily after it. Also did get Chef and Blacksmith. And did get some fun dungeon runs.

Also imho running a random vet should be more rewarding than running a random normal. There's absolutely 0 incentive for random vet given the reward is the same and it takes a lot more time and effort(if you're even able to finish at all with a pug). Imo this was another missed great opportunity to encourage people to try out more vet dungeons.

Typically overhyped, underperforming event. My wife is so disgusted by the last events and dlc that she's considering quiting.

The drop rate for the blueprints in Clockwork City is ABHORRENT.

The OVER-proliferation of sticks in the Witches event outstripped any other reward.

The number of useless tri-pots and crown repair kits as rewards for this event after the incredible hype and pictures of all the items and mention of the 20 houses, elk, rare island home, etc.

The most my wife has gotten from running it every day with me on multiple characters is a blueprint. I was lucky enough to get the dog and a blueprint, but my luck's pretty much been the same.

She just feels, and rightly so I think, that they're just nickling and diming us at every turn. She brought up a VERY valid point about Wrothgar being essentially the same size, if not larger, than Morrowind and yet Morrowind was a "Chapter".

Eh, seems to me it's more like:
"yes" read the official communications & were misled and/or we went out of our way to run dungeons that we wouldn't have otherwise
"no" didn't pay much attention to the misleading pages and/or run lots of dungeons anyway (so they get free, bonus things for playing "normally")

Yh very disappointed I've just been getting crystals, mimic stones and maps. I know it's extremely rare to get the houses but would of been nice to get 1 at least, would made me feel better about the game

A matter of seconds is what takes me to spec my characters for other roles diff than DPS. A normal run takes 15 mins at most and NO queue at all. And btw is more than gold or 13k what i'm enjoying atm with this event.

It does suck to see some people get multiple collectibles while you only get one, but that's just luck. I do have one more day of 8 boxes to go so hopefully I will win something fun:)

I would have liked to see at least one person get the jackpot. I do not care if it was me or not. There is another thread/poll that asked if anyone got the jackpot and so far from what I can tell there has been all No's and 3 Yes's but none of the Yes's have come forward to explain what they received with the exception of one Yes vote who said he hit the jackpot becasue he got to play the game.

I know it is not over yet, but I would think someone would have hit the jackpot by now.
