I know it's not a conspiration.
But I also don't believe they spent any amount of time researching individual contries' laws. I am pretty sure they simply looked up some sort of guidelines or rules of other companies who did similar contest in past, and copied the rules.

Yes, if you use finder you get restricted to lowest member, not only random but also selecting dungeon on list even. This is true even for pre formed groups.
So yes having an low level character in group will give you easy dungeons. this should also work with <cp160 and rando vet dungeons.

That was mostly tongue in cheek. The very first box I opened in that event was 20 bananas and 20 bugloss, hardly what I'd be trumpeting as "ZOMG Guaranteed rare item!!!!" It just struck me as funny - and reminded me to always manage my expectations.

#10MillionStories Clarification please. Are Mystery Boxes and other bonuses awarded only for RANDOM Dungeons (LFG)? Last night I used LFG to join several specific dungeons for which my toon qualified such as Darkshade Caverns I.

On the plus side LFG queues took less than 2 minutes to form our group.

Possible bug (not reported), My toon was always assigned Tank although I selected DPS.

@faerigirl They usually do a free-to-play weekend whenever they do sweepstakes like this. While I obviously can't guarantee it one way or the other, they've done these things before and it didn't go permanently F2P then. I believe they do it for legal reasons and of course, for advertising in the hopes that people who try it, buy it.

Your better off staying in windhelm, it's a rough word that tamriel.

There's plenty of good role play to be had in dungeons though, interesting stories, and some dungeons are pretty easy on normal.

I might actually dare to go the random dungeon route for once again (wow completely cured me of every wanting to try randoms again). Provided I got time to run one uninterrupted (toddler-aggro) as I hate to inconvenience strangers with the chance of me having to walk away for a bit every now and then. Maybe try to do a random with guildies. It does work with a premade group right?

I'm not huge into dungeons.

I guess it's time for me to choose my best few characters (I have 10, and 1 is completely noncombat) and get them workable for group content.

None of my characters are built or geared for group pve. I'm just not that good with it. Even my main and my second can only spit out between 7-10k dps each.

Most of my characters are in the level 30-40 range, and two in the 40-45 range.

I bet I will get kicked a lot. I hate being the fly in the ointment, but I want reward boxes too.

If the event is open to sub 50 characters, what is the lowest level one can be to run a random?

I believe the minimum level to use the dungeon finder is 10 (and actually it might be lower, I just haven't checked), so this event is open to everyone. If you do a random dungeon before level 45 then you will only be sent to the easiest dungeons - so low-level characters will be the real heroes of this event because everyone will want to do the quick and easy dungeons that we get because of low-level characters.

Hey, can anyone say me if there is a minimum level to do:

• Normal dungeon through the group tool
• Veteran dungeon trhough the group tool

with the clockwork city update they changed some thing, they said that you need to be lvl 45 for normal dungeon but the group tool ask you to be lvl 10 so i'm confused

If you can't complete a random normal dungeon by yourself as a DPS, much less with 4 even semi-capable DPS, what are you actually doing?

It says "complete a random dungeon", but does that mean any or does it have to be the purple reward? Since it's once per character per day, it sounds like a blue reward would also count, but I'd like to know with certainty.

Actually, it looks like having a character in the 30-40 range might be to your benefit! I know I'm personally going to be advertising for sub-45 characters to join me in the dungeon queue for super easy random normals, so that I don't get DLC dungeons or second tier dungeons. I can solo all normal dungeons on any character, and would really appreciate not finding myself stuck in DLC runs that will never be completed due to dungeon mechanics.
