Untrue. I've had very good luck with Crown crates, and it's definitely encouraged me to play more. I got the Plague Husk in my first free crate, and during the Wild Hunt season I got a mount in my 12th I think, as well as the pet and costume I wanted, as well as a decent haul of gems to go towards the statue.

Not that I'm defending Crown crates themselves; I would much, much rather buy the things I want. But I can't deny that when the RNG is good, it's encouraging.

Sorry man you got no ine to blame but yourself, you gambled for pointless pixels and lost a ton of money. At least those who do normal gambling get real money if they win, but 75000 crowns to get mounts, I can't even...

Why the apology? Blame myself about what? Did you even read my post? Did I even want a mount? Was I crying about losing crowns? No. I was letting people know how bad my drop rate was. Thanks for reading.

Hahahaha Bro I spent 25k crowns on crates and got almost every single thing except a mount or the 3 special ones haha RNGesus hates me! Lol. All good though. Got enough gems and then some to get some skelly mounts. Will wait till next year for another attempt at those special ones.

At least ZoS have the money to improve the game. In which the fixes and improvements will come in the next century.

Australian pricing has gone up 20% from 40 to 50 AUD. Maybe I didn't notice that, but I did....

i had seen someone on other game got incrediable lucky streak pulling rarest item from lockboxes 3-4 in a row and some other players pulled junks over and over for 3-4 years, and decide to erase that character, and reroll with different names and got lucky few times, heard his scream, WTH??? on my headphone, and he also heard an urban legend of wi-flag coding from years ago from other game.

if you think you might had character during creation may came with cursed coding were thrown on, try different character and different names. each character has hidden blueprints, even the devs may not aware or deny if that exist.

someone with winning streak for so long, and others may think there is hack in code, but it not. these devs wont find it right away, it will take months to find it deep in matrix, and Turbinegames team did find it and they change character creation. that team no long around since warner bros laid them off.

Do NOT buy crown crates.

Stop perpetuating a terrible, RNG reward system in a progression-based game. This is not a Korean MMO.

Stop enabling real-money gambling in video games. If you buy crates, you are part of the problem.

They were designed to take advantage of people with too much money or not enough self-control. Don't be that chump.

When you buy crates you not only waste money, but you screw up the game for the rest of us.

So before ZOS takes a page from the EA bible...

Stop buying crown crates!

It is working as intended.
And I really like the system if it is used properly.
They can really use some of the fund to invest in future expansions and *cough* better server.
However they could have given u at least one or 2 apex mounts so that u get the intensive to buy even more crates.
You did your job of funding future DLCs so thank you.
Don't let these dissapoint u ..Buy 200 more and see...I bet u will get at least 1 hidden mount. (:

Wow! I never heard about Wi-Flag. Did some google search and found its history with a dev's letter to players with an explanation of this bug. Very interesting story.
Also, nowadays, developers rarely talk to their players in that manner they used to. Turbine team has explained all, it really seems like open-doors-development with no secrets. It's sad that we don't see such conversation in modern game industry.

I could buy all the mounts with the amount of crown gems I have saved up, but i'm not really interested in them. I just want to see how bad the drop rate can really be. Do I keep going?

There's always a broken Group Finder in the game.
There's always a broken mount riding animation when your character stands on the mount's back and runs on it.
There's always poorly made decisions about game concept where we've got an alliance war within an open world, AD guys questing and trading with EP guys, EP guys living in a house in DC capital.
There're always ridiculous Dwemer mounts.
There's always something we can whine about.

Asking them to change CC's in some way to favour the consumer, after purchasing 75k crowns, and spending the lot on crates is somewhat counterproductive. As long as there are people who use 75k crowns, the crates will never disappear or have the odds improved. Simply makes no business sense to do so.

I'd never ask for them to change Crown Crates or the drop rate or anything...my beef is with Pacrooti and his "I see a lucky aura around you" BS. I think after the first time you either get all crap items or get duplicates of items you already have, Pacrooti should shut the hell up and just shake his head sadly. His constant smarmy patter makes me want to yank his tail out by the roots.

Ouch, man I feel sorry for you. Does is help any that I have not received any mounts in my free crates?

Also, remember not to believe all those folks who got 2 mounts out of their 3 free crates. Most bought a few 15 packs and would like you to believe they got them from the free ones (hence the idea of the free ones.)

Do you feel better yet? Damn, I wouldn't either.
