Hopefully nothing else. the clueless devs of all these mmos never seem to fully grasp how it feels to farm for items, waste your time doing it then log in some patch day to find your stuff was nerfed and your time never meant anything to them. it's disrespectful this day and age where time and life is precious. if we're going to play a game don't screw around with things and waste or time ffs. That's why people leave. Can't clearly keep giving to a game that keeps taking away.

No room to slot the new rune-cage. (unless I drop pets).. And playing DW with double-barred frags, my opponent has almost constant CC-immunity anyway, unless permablocker/dodger.
Possibly more useful to use with a with a staff user who does less frags and so has more control over CC.

New staff - looks good, but I'm never gonna get it. Never done a trial and have no intention of doing one. I do hate the idea of top-end PVE gear impacting PVP though. I really do NOT like that.

New set that boosts class abilities... May be useful since I mostly DW - so rely only on class abilities... Not sure if it would be worth the loss in shield strength or sustain by dropping either necropotence (max mag) or my sustain set..

Probably great for non-petsorcs who have the space in their bar for the new stun, and also PVE to get the new staff..


On the face of it I thought.. wow - actual buffs for DW sorc! Then the more I thought - I realised.. nope -not really - but better for destro sorcs.. again...

On the plus side I get to enjoy months of hyperbole and tears about sorcs again. Wrobel is the dev who just keeps delivering.

Don't forget - anyone can use it..

Sorcs are only the main user because they have no other option. Most sorcs would kill for a class anytime - it would open up a TON of build options and allow for non-shield-dependent builds.

A new master staff, when master//maelstrom//asylum weapons that are supposed to be the epitome of endgame pve rewards, that anyone can equip and use, that buffs a skill that anyone can slot, and everyone begins to cry about ZOS hating ____ and loving sorcs. It's almost as if people view Force Pulse and think it just means sorc as if it's a sorc class skill (only reason why most sorcs use it is because, wait what? Only class in the game without a spammable?)

Most people don't test anything and they cry. Its always funny, since they are wrong 99% of the time.

As far as Sorcs go... Last time I checked they didn't have much bar space. Where are they going to fit in Rune Prison? I think they won't. Its a skill that is useful solely in duels and even there, its only good for making sure that Meteors hits. Anyone with fast reflexes will break free and block before the Meteor hits.

The Asylum Staff is fine. Its an item for which you have to sacrifice a item slot with which you might have completed a 5 piece set. Its supposed to be a BiS item. I can say for a fact, that in PvE, you'll only ever need 1 person in a group using that staff. Also, Force Pulse doesn't mean Sorc, Force Pulse is a Destro staff skill that any class can use. Don't get the tears.

Everyone saying that the new destro staff isn't a buff to mag sorcs for pvp is just flat out ignorant. I don't want to see another person say force shock isn't just a mag sorc only skill, instead bring me proof of another magicka class using force shock in cyrodiil then we can talk. Until then, this is a blatant buff for sorcs in pvp.
