Teabagging ? That pretended emote performed only by 12-year-olds ?

Teabagging is a great emote! Especially when a ganker fails to get you, and you end up getting him instead...

    :)

No not really, failed ganks are all part of the equation. Gankers know and understand this. For the recipient it may seem like you are getting a one up, or having a gotcha moment. For the ganker its a tuesday... tea bagging a character that is built to gank and for whatever has a failed execution just makes you look foolish for putting so much stock into it, as if you feel like kid that knows martial arts and the bully makes a big mistake choosing to pick on you.

Then again people that teabag generally also feel ganking is some kind of embarassing and cowardly gameplay style that should be openly mocked, so i dont really pay any attention.

For me? I dont tea bag, not because of some moral high ground but frankly no matter the scenario, i would feel like an idiot nor does me getting teabagged invoke any sort of emotional response. Crouching has been in most mmos with pvp since as long as i can remember, i dont know why it is only now so popular.

The only time I ever teabag is when someone repeatedly sends me hate tells. I usually just them once, put them on ignore and move on.

I play this game to relax and have fun. If zerglings, people that don't like me or just toxic people in general want to teabag me for whatever reason, I just let them have their fun and move on. Responding to toxicity with your own will just generate more and make the game a worse place for both parties.

No good reason to teabag any player unless you are ERPing, then it's perfectly fine. Whenever I see someone teabagging someone else, I just assume they are inviting that player to an ERPing session.

If they teabag me, my "say" chat (for over a decade playing pvp games) is "No thanks, but I'm sure you will find an ERP partner if you keep doing that, lots of ERPers in this game with all kinds of preferences, good luck!"

As far as "X specific playstyle or skill use or ganking or sniping or whatever" deserves a teabag, fallacious reasoning so long as no cheating or exploiting. For every skill you don't like used against you, there are players who don't like whatever skills and playstyle you prefer. I could make a list of rationalizations of why every single pvp playstyle and skill in the game is cheap or cheesy, thus worthy of scorn via teabag or whatever, but won't bother.

I find tbagging hilarious and don't rage cause of it, but those people also make sure I'll never /bow to their dead bodies in future :D I may don't understand why allies tbag enemies in some situations, but I simply think they have their own reasons which can be valid from their point of view. Personally, if I tbag, I do it to express my disapproval - never for fun:

    - enemy tries to grief others
    - enemy is cheater
    - enemy has destro ult group and thinks that he's invincible
    - enemy tbagged me in the past
    - enemy likes to hide and retreat instead of bravely facing opponent in fair fight
    - enemy simply thinks that he's invincible, and I don't see him struggling during the fight

Once I was simply mad though, and when enemy tried to retreat it infuriated me even more :D It was 2v2 fight at the resource flag with all resource guards aggroed on us (we didn't expect to find enemy players there when we carelessly rode past all guards). Enemy was hiding behind guards, one was "healbot" and other was stamblade. I was also "healbot", with random stamdk ally. Sounds fair, and things would not be maddening - if my food didn't run out and I completely run out of potions
If enemy dd was low on health, enemy healer saved them; if my dd was low on health I saved him - and it was hot with all guards around. It was enemy territory and we were standing till the end. If we focused guards, enemies focused us; after some minutes we somehow managed to take away almost all guards while keeping enemy players under pressure. When they saw they lost their "advantage" (while they still had mage guard on tower...), nightblade simply cloaked away, and templar tried to retreat behind a tree - that's where he was tbagged. All those guards and my lack of potions really made me mad - still that fight itself is one of my best pvp memories <3 They just didn't want to continue it as fair fight...

Unfortunately I saw honorable enemies literally few times :/ - it was like a year ago (?) on good old Haderus. Few AD, DC, EP - we were dueling, and everyone would /bow to defeated opponent.
And one DC blazing shield build - our group struggled a bit with killing him, then I used light attacks to charge my ulti from him, transformed into werewolf and while he was CC'd he died. Then he resurrected at nearby outpost and came out with large group of his allies - when we were killed, he bowed to me. It was totally not expected, and so nice :)

I haven't seen small scale duels anymore, and each time I can accidentally participate in 1v1 fight and think "damn, if I win I totally need to /bow". Needless to say, if I die in such encounters, I never see enemy /bow
Toxic atmosphere of such pvp ensures that the best thing I can do is ignore dead body of an enemy.
Some of people are on my personal tbag list since those old Haderus times - hilarious to think they don't even know that random player tbags them every time he sees them dead simply because they tbagged him when he was newbie

Guys, it's teabagging this hopping up and down on one's corpse? I didn't even know, it has a name. What emote is that used for? I know this from other games as corpse jumping. I sometimes noticed someone teabagging on me but had no idea why. Maybe I like raging in my team... Whatever is a childish and stupid behavior, but hey, we all have been teenagers

it's not that easy, particularly on the ps4 where you have to repeatedly press r3...

I've tried it a few times on some of the world bosses...not easy...

you can always tell the absolute pvp noobs when someone does one of those spastic looking bags...

I know it's not right to stereotype - but, yeah when I see folks doing some random teabagging i generally just label them as "one of those teabagging type individuals"...

which is to say they're slightly below people whom pass gas in crowded elevators, or, pee in public pools...

slightly lower examples of home sapiens...

People moan about bagging specifically, who generally just want to take offence over something. It's just pixels!

Personally id only ever bag a player that's bagged me or has been annoying - gankers, never die builds etc all generally on CP cap and good at PvP, mates too.

And I've learnt there's no way to offer respect or kudos via emoji or whatever, its all taken the sane way!! The action matters very little.

I've tried bowing saluting etc and Pro's get just as wound up on any action. Even if you mount ur horse just to run off and it tramples their dead pinky

When I was new I got bagger alot and found it hilarious. Also i put up a gd fight once and the winner did the shovel emote and I thought it was respect, I.e. Burying me. LOL I soon learnt people hate that just as much when I tried it for giving kudos.

In short, its pixels and people need to chill. This game has the most chilled PvP I've player compared to COD et al.

Nothing because tea bagging is stupid and there is no emote for it just twisting another twisting of an emote, a good fight deserves a bow and part ways.

But if someone attempts to gank you, the 'fight' wasn't fair from the start, so if I am able to turn the tables and kill the ganker, then he deserves whatever I decide to do with his dead corpse...

It's open world pvp, there are almost no fair fights.

When you zerg a small group it isn't a fair fight.
When a small group kills a solo player it isn't a fair fight.
When you kill a low level player it isn't a fair fight.
When you fight somebody who starts the fight with low resources for whatever reasons it isn't a fair fight.
When you start with a full ultimate, but your opponent is on 0 it isn't a fair fight.

As long as people aren't exploiting there is no real reason to complain about their playstyle, no matter how annoying you might think it is. And gankers are build on high damage but little sustain, so when they fail the execute it isn't exactly hard to turn around the fight. Teabagging them just shows how salty you are about getting ganked

I only tea-bag my cross-alliance friends who I know well, because that's part of giving each other friendly BS. That's it.

I do consider these to be acceptable T-bag circumstances, in that I won't chastise someone in discord for doing it:

    1. Failed gank resulting in ganker's death.

    2. Someone who has T-bagged you before. This goes double if they zerg you down and then Tbag you, or else hide behind level 5 guards and then tbag you.

    3. The DC perma-emp on Sotha Sil. If you've played sotha, you know why.
