What actions, if any, demand that you teabag a defeated foe?


For me, the following demand that I teabag an opponent no matter what:

1) Someone attempts to gank me, and not only fails, but I am able to turn the tables and kill them instead...
2) A Destro Ult user attempts to kill me and/or my group with this Ult, fails to get a single kill, and gets killed instead...


So, what situations occur for you personally, that demand that you teabag an opponent?

Nothing because tea bagging is stupid and there is no emote for it just twisting another twisting of an emote, a good fight deserves a bow and part ways.

When I see someone teabagging a friend or foe, then kill them and teabag them.

When a Zerg kills you (or teammate), then a zerglings or 2 stay behind to teabag - kill then teabag them.

Oh sure, a good, fair fight deserves a bow; I'm 100% in agreement with you here.

But if someone attempts to gank you, the 'fight' wasn't fair from the start, so if I am able to turn the tables and kill the ganker, then he deserves whatever I decide to do with his dead corpse...

If someone T-tags me they go straight on my KOS list and I make it my missing to ONLY target them until dead and then T-bag them until they release

Teabagging is inappropriate, no matter what the circumstances.

If one must lower oneself to some kind of childish display of contempt, then the following 3 gestures might be forgiven.

1. A reversed victory sign
2. One finger thrust in the air from an otherwise clenched fist.
3. A salute that emianates from the centre forehead and gravitates in a downward arc - akin to a [snip] gesture.

Like others before me have said, the defeat of an honourable opponent deserves a bow or salute.

None - teabagging is an action you take and so is only a reflection on you, your character, your sportsmanship and your values - it is not anything at all reflective of any trait of the opponent or any actions they may have taken.

Its about you, not them.


Trying to conjure justifications so as to disguise that you are doing what you **WANT** to do is a waste of self-deception, IMO.

"They asked for it." is an oft used excuse for so many acts, almost none good.

There are so many better things one can lie to themselves about that their reasons for this behavior.

"It was her, not me."
"Many folks these days still live with their mom at 37."
"Its all about politics, not performance, around the office."
etc

Hrm... people that make useless threads about teabagging might deserve it but in general most mature people don't do it.

On a side note I've lost count of how many people I've ganked while they were stroking their ego teabagging someone else. So hilarious.
