Do you PvP?
I get threats every time I PvP, some times I get over 25 per day.
Recently I even got a threat while in PvE from grabbing resources nodes...
Players/Community feels more aggresive these days, there is no respect and all of those players are set in offline mode...

Well there's your problem. PvP is generally full of people that get salty about being killed

Well the OP did mention making threads
On topic, I don't understand the reasoning for the system to work the way it does in the first place. Talking in group/guild/zone chat when offline makes perfect sense because in each of these instances people can respond to you using the same tool you did(group/guild/zone chat) and you're on equal footing there, but why on Earth would you want to send someone a personal message when they 100% cannot respond? 99/100 times I get a tell from offline people it's my friends who were feeding 10 alts' horses and forgot to log back on. I then have to mail them to remind them to log in and if their mail happens to be full well tough luck, they usually message me like in an hour with something like "LOL and I was wondering why no one wanted to talk to me" XD Heck I sometimes do this myself and it's actually annoying because it's so easy to forget about being set offline and then keep wondering why no one responds.
Story time (my first hatewhisper I ever got):
> Be me, zergling little PvE player during the Midyear event.
> Only there for the 2x AP, rarely PvP otherwise, to toxic place for my taste otherwise
> Playing a bomblade build on AD side, can do 0 stuff unless my ultimate is enough to use EotS/Soul-tether
> Hunts some EP-players, obviously an organized raid with good players.
> Manage to outnumber them (as zergs usually do) and kill them.
> Recognize one of the EP-players that´s been killed, she/he used to flame me a lot on the forums a while ago (said that I shouldn´t comment about PvP related stuff since I don´t PvP --> LoL)
> Disclaimer: This EP-player is known to be very salty and is well-known for having a very passive-aggressive/aggressive approach towards the game in generall
> He/She doesn´t res at a keep, I figure that someone of her/his teammates must be comming for a res.
> Decides to go full trollmode to see if I can bait a flame-response. Goes into sneakmode (spawn-camping)
> Someone come and starts resing (I was right, lol)
> Interupts the res, goes inte sneak/stealth
> Player starts resing again, I interupt the res once again.
> Keep going for Another 5-7 minutes until the rest of the EP Group come and kills me.
> Receives hate-whisper from the previously dead EP-player how trash/pathetic I am for not being able to spawn-kill.
> Implying it was intended lel.

You getting angry/salt tells in PVP? You've won.
The pinnacle of the ESO PVP experience is to have someone contact you from another alliance outside the normal combat exchange to tell you you cheat, you suck whatever.
This means you created an emotional response from them while you just played a game. Cherish these, and welcome to club babe.

I just feel bad when I get hate mail.why are people so competitive in this game?
The only thing I would change is: if person I'm trying to whisper is offline, I shouldn't be able to select option to whisper them (neither from player interaction interface, nor in chat). Once I saw a character with awesome looking armor and typed in whisper something like "how cool the armor looks and what style is it" - only to send it in vain cause that player was in offline modeAnd then he logged out...
