    I think it's different by platform, maybe by region.

    Xbox EU I've had a few messages (generally after T Bagging someone that deserved it) but maybe as texting is such a pain on console or text chat being newer, just doesn't seem to happen much.

    I'm new to MMO & gaming regularly but have heard that whiney trolling cry on defeat is common. I guess as average gamer age is low on console? Dunno wild speculation

    I LOVE getting angry hate tells in PvP, I find them hilarious and very entertaining! It amuses me just how upset someone can get over a game when they get killed (it's PvP after all), and what I'm using to kill them is legit stuff that is in the game (burst, procs, etc).

    Maybe it's just me, but I find PvP funny and fun. I just can't take it seriously! Even more fun when someone I killed gets all hissy-fit over it!

    @Devilhand, not allowing you to pm someone if you are in Offline mode doesn't prevent you from going Online, pm the player and go back to Offline mode.

    If a player sends a message in any mode, both offline and online, we should be able to reply.

    Several top players I have exchanged heated tells with are now on my friends list, go figure.
    Turns out to be haha I got you that time type of thing.

    The only time when I'll go out of my way and whisper another unknown player is when I'm acknowledging a good play.

    True.

    But if someone do that, which means he is a coward, should be punished by ZOS for harrasment. Intended aggressive behaviour.

    And for all of you saying, just put them on ignore... Well, thats not how you treat bulling/insults in RL. Why the hell i have to sit down and not able to do anything, but keep getting this stupid behaviour all day long from cowards? Either let me defend my self or ZOS should deal with intended harrasment, as the mechanic you just mentioned to go around it.
    If I put on ignore each person that has sent a hate tell, my ignore list would be full by now.
