I am max cp. I take pride in being able to pull groups through most dungeons. Max players shame on you. Normal dungeons are you cereal? They are soloable!!

I don't know what the big deal is about "low" or "no" CP players. They do fine in normal dungeons, the only problem I encounter when picking up players from zone is a "personality" conflict.

Yeah, it just gets problematic when the more difficult dungeons are included in the Random Normal rotation, so you end up snagging a level 10 Tank and a level 12 healer, to say little of the wee DPS's new to the game that come in with a sword and board, execute zero abilities, and do nothing but light attacks the whole time. None of this would matter if the Random Norm dungeon rotation only included the original launch dungeons. But when you get Mazzatun, Bloodrot, or Falkreathe Hold, White Gold Tower it can be potentially frustrating.

And it's not the players' fault either. They're just queueing for a random normal, which is their right. They just tryin to get they lowbie dungeon on, yo.

But why the more difficult DLC dungeons are included in this rotation is beyond baffling to me.

It actually is players' fault if it's frustrating. Completed it on a lvl 12 with some other lowbies no problem. Well, the problem was is that some people chose to ignore mechanics and not listen or go like "don't tell me how to play" or "you elitist" and such, when you are doing the opposite and are explaining mechanics. Normals are easy. Just follow mechanics. Low DPS makes it slow but that's fine, there's no enrage timer .

"Enrage timers"! Oh man do I remember those from other games. lol Edited to mention that I haven't yet done the HM dungeons in ESO yet and thus haven't had to deal with it here.

I hear you. I just meant it's not necessarily their fault when a complete new player to MMOs in general gets a Falkreath Hold pop on a normal dungeon rotation. They're new to the game, they're just queuing - and WHAM - you can get dungeons that are drastically more complex and lengthy than Spindleclutch I where mechanics don't matter at all.

Why would you kick any player in a normal dungeon? These dungeons can be soloed or 2 manned if restricted by mechanics.

Yup..I got kicked on my level 45 tank cause I'm "level 45"...didn't ask if I had cp, which I have 500 or so, they just kicked me. I had 50k health, wearing ebon set, cc and taunt. Was an imperial dragonknight. Didn't even get to show them how I coped against the first mobs cause they had already vote to kick me. I think the best part was that, they were all lower cp than me. The highest was 400 or something. :|

edit: this was normal volenfell, something I solo daily on my magsorc

So I was curious and decided to level one of my new alts by doing dungeons.
I queued as a dd, wait times were surprisingly short - probably because many people are leveling alts during the event.
But apparently, group finder community is much more elitist that endgame trial comminity. Ok, I know how it sounds, but seriously... I've never ever encountered this level of elitism outside of casual/pug playgrounds. Once I was even kicked from Fungal Grotto 1, simply because of my character's level (I was lvl 18 or so).
Honestly... Now I feel bad for new players. This is just ridiculous.

It depends on the dungeon though. I am not carrying no low level 100 through vet mazzatun.

He specifically mentioned a normal dungeon, most which are soloable.

not the ones with mechanics ie. fungal II, etc.

I've solo'ed FG2 on normal dozens of times.

    ok I'll play...

So when you get chained by the shadow tormentors of Gaymne Bandu , what happens?

They die to my ground DoTs. It does take some timing, but after learning his attack patterns it's not too hard.

It always annoys me when I read these threads because it seems to demonstrate that both the community (and probably society at large) has an abundance of individuals who are staggeringly oblivious to simple curteousy!
There is no defensible excuse for kicking players from normal dungeons just because they are low level. I have heard and read all the arguments countless times but they all amount to the fact that some people just don't give a damn about others and as long as they get what they want, that's all that matters!

I agree. It is very sad that some people don't give a damn about others and go to dungeons without doing their homework and making sure they aren't a burden for others to carry. They just don't care as long as get what they want, that's all that matters to them.

    Normal dungeons are the homework...

I agree! I have CP but this isnt right. You might as well say to the player "im afraid your going to have to leave because your just not good enough"

I will say that. I'm not carrying an idiot through harder content. I'm very good but I'm no god
