Destiny 2 is a load of ***. The first good game that drops I'm out. The only thing that has kept me playing and keeps me playing is how terrible the videogame industry has become. I can't remember one release I gave a damn about since eso's release. Or if I did it just turned out to be utter crap. People don't know how to make good games anymore.
Not everyone has suffered performance issues by any means, and most report seeing plenty of players around. There are a few forum malcontents as there are in any game especially when it's been out a while, but they're not remotely representative of the population in the game which is the only one that matters. The game's doing fine, so no need to panic about it dying before Christmas - although I note that you're careful not to specify which Christmas!
Another of these threads, been seeing these since launch 2014

So me thinks ESO dead before Christmas, discuss.

Steam is only a small fraction of the player base. And population always spikes in MMOs around expansions and events.
The subreddit population has never been higher, and continues to rise every month.

just like it was dead any one of a thousand threads about its demise before.
me thinks eso will be alive tomorrow and thru christmas and for some time to come.
Obviously we cannot wager but you want to agree to revisit this thread then as see who is right?
if eso is dead then i will sing your praises sd prognosticator and give you an awesome... will you promise the same for me if it is alive then or will you prefer to just let this one more baseless prediction easily forgotten once the noise has passed?

Mostly I'm trying to raise awareness, to get it fixed. A rather aggressive stance heals big this to people's attention, we're tired of the lag it needs to go and is no longer ok

Same deal with the sub reddit pop, it peaks at around 1200 now and was well over 1700 in may

Lol you must be new here, the forums have had threads like this for years, even before the game launched, on closed beta forums, threads like this existed.
I agree about the lag, but there was the double ap event which could have gone better, but this is nothing new.

Yes, because May was the eve of Morrowind. Population always spikes around expansions, like I said.
It's not ESO fault
To be fair...
One common trait among all the Elder Scrolls game...
Buggy, very buggy.
Red Ring of Death??? Most likely came about from playing an Elder Scrolls game.
Elder Scrolls, there core... Always been buggy, will always be buggy, and no amount of whining is going to change that.
Thats a racial trait that the Elder Scrolls series is stuck with, all games will be buggy as hell.

I'm not new, more threads the better. Maybe we can make he whole Frontpage threads about lag then something will get done?

Coolio, but tbh, the games pop is fine, spikes around dlc times, but the lag does need fixed, but zos just cannot do it, cos they are incompetent, simple as.
