    Thanks for posting all this information, everyone. We've been using this while we continue to investigate the latency issue. If you haven't done so already, please go ahead and submit a ticket with Support as well so we can continue gathering information.

    Thanks Gina!

    I quit... It's been since Friday and this company can't fix there game. Iv had it. I can't farm I cant do anything but stand around. No skills can be used. Iv submit a ticket iv wrote my details here. Iv never in my life seen something like what is happened in the game. Been playing for I think almost going on a year and now this. It can't take a week to figure this out. This is ether on purpose for some reason to get people to leave or idk.

    I mean destiny had its problems but they fixed it without trouble.

    I just can't believe this. Canceled my sub. Taking a week, I'm betting it won't be fixed by then. Disgusting
    Took days for them to notice, something fishy is going on here. There really is no need to even log on get kicked if you move told you where kicked for spam when on horse. And cold harbor is the worse. Gross have fun waiting for no fix

    Yeah this is honestly annoying. I've had this issue for a week and I can't play/raid/anything. It's pathetic how they can't fix this, and it took multiple days to even acknowledge this. My guild has been unable to raid for a week, and looks like it's gonna be another few days.

    Good to finally get some feedback. Appreciate it.

    Hope you guys can manage cause this is seriously impacting the gaming experience.

    Anyway, last night (asian time) on PC EU was better than the day before (still worst than the past, but playable-ish)

    5. Issues: Lag. Extreme delays in bar swapping. Slow response when accessing bank. When depositing items into bank, they don't show up, have to relog. I see people warping around. Basically doing any dungeons is risky. Questing is ok but I get lag in the quest dialogs. The lag has been like this for 2 weeks. Before Morrowind, it was good and playable.

    How do I send in a traceroute to the PS4 NA server? Can I get an IP address or hostname?

    5 Latency swings like everyone else, not FPS so much. Been having them since March, but they have been getting higher and more frequent as time has gone by. This past week has been the worst. Including getting sent to the login screen with no error message several times. Have no problems with any other internet functions including watching video streams.

    About 6 hours ago the lag was so bad I kept getting kicked to the login screen so it was time to take a break. I come back and see that Gina had responded that they would be contacting the problem providers. I have played for an hour and half now and the ping is between 125-180, still too high but nothing like it's been (normal for me is 70-105)

    But.. But... could it be? Months of this lag and now it is finally gone?! (gone-ish) Just like that?! (well THIS lag, not all the "usual" lag anyway).

    Fingers crossed!!!

    Kudos to the guy or gal that went out and gave the gear a swift kick. But could you go out there again and try to knock of that last 100?!

    UPDATE 11:50 PM PST:
    Nope spoke too soon. Just had a 999+ last for about 45 seconds and then I'm kicked to the login screen with no error. But the play was so much better, right up until then.

    Yeah it's definitely better but still issues. My latency is better most of the time, but still a lot of lag in pvp battles.

    @LuminaLilly still unplayable for you?

    Ok well ill repost since this is the "master thread". Its always bad on xbox, but really bad this week and tonight there was a massive server crash.. like the entire xbox na server besides a few lucky people.. i watched 3 zergs of seperate alliances crash around 2am in vivec.. confirmed it through a couple guilds as well. Seems the game gets worse every update on xbox, but this week is real bad.

    @itzTJ bummer man, I hope it gets fixed for you soon. Today and yesterday were the first playable days for me in a week or so. I think they're working on it but seems like possible multiple issues both on zos' end and with some nearby nodes. Hang in there, I used the opportunity to refresh my mind and take a break from eso.

    @Vapirko Ya i know what you mean i have been playing a lot less. And it sucks to not play when you want but this last week is unbearable. The game on xbox already cant handle more than 20 people in one area without lagging, any more and it gets worse. Now add that to this weird lag thats making people teleport around/crashing the server, plus trying to solo pvp, and its a nightmare. Just seems like they neglect a lot of things, console being one of them. Or maybe they dont neglect, maybe they dont know what to do about certain things, i dont know. Thanks for the advice though, taking a break isnt a bad thing.

    This was last night; I didn't bother to check this morning before work. Attempting to walk around the crafting area in Vivec was painful. Got kicked to the main menu, so just gave up at that point.

    @Vapirko to give credit where credit's due, it's a little better to some extent, yet lags bike still occur from time to time.

    To give you all an update, one of the routes we identified as a problem was recently fixed by the internet service provider. If you're continuing to have issues with latency, please submit a ticket with Support and include your traceroute information (you can find instructions on how to find that here).

    It's most definitely not fixed for a lot of the PC folks. It's still completely unplayable for me during peak hours and playable but laggy enough to make it not fun during off-peak hours.

    I just got one last response from customer service before they marked my ticket about all of this as "solved" (which it obviously is not, but the troubleshooting has obviously run its course):

    "Upon researching this issue further our developers are currently investigating reports of some players encountering higher than normal latency issues due to the connect path they are using. As this is something our developers will be working with ISPs to resolve I'm unfortunately unable to provide a timeframe as to when exactly this will be permanently resolved however rest assured that we will look in to this further."

    I suggested that put the "We know it sucks and we're trying to fix it" banner back up so at least people can cling to some home that things will eventually work.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

    Hey Gina, my ping has been fine from around the time of your update (July 8) until today (July 14). I suspect that this is because I use a good VPN and it was routing me around the problematic points that were still causing some players to get lag. However, even via my VPN today, I was getting freezes of 3+ seconds in game followed by huge latency spikes between 600 and 999+. Running a traceroute shows complete packet loss after getting to the US (I play from SE Asia). Normal latency is 270-350. As you can see at step #14, it hits the US from Singapore and is fine up until #21. This is not via my vpn which the traceroute doesn't work through for whatever reason, but the issues are still present with a vpn.
