When this happens, I would call to them and they are always would say me the exact time for this works (not "when it happens - then it happens" like here), and also a reason for it.Have you tried to send one of those kinda email/poll to your Electric Company for refund for power failure

Pretty funny, that usanians thinks, that only USA and one time-zone exists
Hi, dear ZOS!
I don't ask you what you are doing in this hours, I don't ask you why it's going so long (4hr normally every week... in 2017, yeah), I don't ask you why it can't be done in the night hours separately for NA and EU (starts from 4:00 EDT / UTC and finishes at 8:00 EDT / UTC).
But.
As an ESO+ member I want an extra day of ESO+ for every unexpected maintenance or weekly maintenance, that lasts too long.
Just a little reminder:
April 24-25 2017 - 12 hour maintenance. Patch notes would break your mind, open carefully!
May 2 2017 - again 12-hour maintenance. Patch notes are amazing again.
May 30 2017 - about 8 hours
June 4 2017 - about 6 hours
June 20 2017 - just unexpected maintenance, yesterday was a weekly one, what is so crazy happened, that can't wait until next weekly?
More explanation:
Usual player have 4-5 hours to play. If in this hours are maintenance happens (unexpected one, that he wouldn't able to predict and adapt his free-time to it) - player just can't move his play window to another (late) time. And, basically a day of ESO+ would lost. If you would add a day of ESO+ - noone would play 24-hours of that added day - it's still will be 4-5 hours.
Nothing bad here, this is a common behavior of the any solid company to it's customers.
And here is a little (biased, for sure) poll. Obviously, it is for ESO+ members. Free members - be happy, that you are playing for free.

I didn't seen it yesterday in my time-zone.
Honestly, I didn't checked forums exactly at 23:59, so...

The opening post is a waste of zeros and ones to be frank, and I could not disagree with you more. Updates and maintenance are there to improve/maintain the game we all enjoy to play. Taking offense and wanting compensation for such show such selfish naivety.
Merlin13KAGL wrote: »ZoS already compensates you.
For every hour you cannot play the game, ZoS gives you one hour to do whatever else you would like. They don't even charge extra for it!
@eklhaftb16_ESO I have seen this in other MMO games though, if you give out compensation for a slight minor issue (like one extra days downtime) you'll have set an expectation of that every time.eklhaftb16_ESO wrote: »This isn't about "entitlement", this is really a rather standard part of customer relationships. "Sorry we screwed up, here's a little something for your patience." Nothing big, just a goodwill gesture to keep the customers happy. A little old-school courtesy. It goes a long way to instil loyalty, which in turn helps the customer retention.
If my local corner-shop butcher can afford to act like that, surely a multi-million business can, too. Especially since any compensation they would provide is gonna be intangible, conjured out of thin air with next-to-zero costs on their side.
About that butcher, it was like this: he screwed up my preorder, and to apologize he gave me a nice discount (essentially, beef steaks for the price of pork legs). Which in turn made me so happy that I ended up spending twice as much as usual and buying stuff I wouldn't otherwise buy.
Of course, he didn't have to do that. He could've approached the whole thing in a ZOS way - by shrugging and saying "Happens. We're working on it, come back tomorrow, it might be ready." Which may work great if you want to get rid of your customers, but not so great if you're trying to keep them.
And a reason of your popping here?@OP: You need to go back and read the "Terms of Service" and "Terms of Use" agreement you accepted when you started playing ESO. You will see maintenance times are included in those terms and compensation will not be given for it and YOU agreed to it by accepting (electronically signing) those terms.
You did read it all right?
I hope you understand, that there is another name for words like that: Stockholm syndrome...An MMO is always and continually a work in progress. Things get broken and have to be fixed, sometimes as quickly as possible. Downtime, announced or unannouced, is part of the deal.

Can I have your stuff, please, not-a-greed sir?
