Total number of skill points as of Morrowind

No skill point from Halls. Maelstrom is the black sheep of the family and is the only one of the seven trials to grant a skill point.

1 skill point for completing the tutorial

also some questlines like the Telvanni gives 1 Skillpoint
Also there is only 25 skill points in Alliance War because you only get one per Rank and every rank has 1 and 2

This is wrong, you get a skillpoint even for part 1 and 2. -_-

I made a character yesterday and did not get two skill points at my first level-up. I started on Firemoth, so I know my Morrowind expansion is active. I wonder if this was fixed in the patch update a few days ago?

I think maybe you misunderstood, the bug would be that you get the 1 skill point for completing the tutorial (leaving firemoth island) and THEN if you go to the mainland and do the soul-shriven questline, you get 1 skill point for THAT tutorial. Where as If you go from the mainland with an existing character, to morrowind, you do not get the tutorial skill point. -> at least thats my understanding of it. has nothing to do with levels.
