Total: 381 + 18 from Morrowind
Total Available Skill Points as of July 2016: 366
So, where does the 15 skill points come from between July 2016 and pre-Morrowind?
Taleof2Cities wrote: »UESP had 368 as of Shadows of the Hist.
So, add the Morrowind skyshards (18 skyshards for a total of 6 skill points)
1 skill point for completing the main quest
1 skill point for completing the tutorial
1 skill point for completing Halls of Fabrication
2 skill points for the public dungeon events
What am I missing?
As you may be aware (there are a few threads about this) currently you are able to acquire two skill points with new characters only when finishing the tutorial.
An existing character will not get another skill point for the tutorial.
That sort of leaves that one skill point in limbo.

Oh I'm just compiling a guide for my friend with preferably updated info. He'll be new so he'll get that extra point for sure.

Well that should get him started, come august we probably get another couple of points

Is this extra skill point from starting a new character with the morrowind considered a bug that will be fixed? I own the original ESO but haven't purchased Morrowind yet. But this whole extra skill point has be thinking I will buy the expansion before I start playing again...

For one thing 1 skill point won't make a difference unless you want to spend points on virtually everything.

For one thing 1 skill point won't make a difference unless you want to spend points on virtually everything. Also if devs had the manpower I'm sure this is something they would normally fix, but I feel that they are under a lot of strain and 1 skill point probably isn't in their radar for the time being. Anyway, don't buy Morrowind for the 1 skill point. But if you are interested in Warden, BG and the content it brings, sure why not.

I wish more people understood everything you just said - but this especially. 1 skill point is a drop in the bucket at the end of the day - it has no real value when you have all the others.

And I wish more people would understand that this affects completionists and just because it doesn't affect your playstyle doesn't mean it's insignificant. I have over 330 skill points and I'll never be able to collect every skillpoint in the game because something I have no control over

Completionism is insignificant - I too am a completionist and let me tell you that obsessive compulsive tendencies aren't significant impacts to the game or its experience unless you allow them to be. Have you completed all the achievements, have you collected every set? Do you have every pet/mount ever released? If not then you're looking for a reason to be soggy about something that is otherwise not a major issue.
And you always call me out in these threads and I always tell you the same thing - I AM NOT AGAINST THEM FIXING IT - I just want people to understand they can get by without it.. When people are considering only buying it for 1 skill point, that's kinda sad and we shouldn't be encouraging that.
I'm a trophy hunter on Ps4 with over 100+ Platinums - I know full well what its like to be completionist down to the true definition of doing everything there is to do - but lacking one skill point just isn't harmful to game mechanics - that's the only thing I'm saying.
I'm pretty sure you get one per numbered rank in the Alliance War, not one per title.BigBadVolk wrote: »also some questlines like the Telvanni gives 1 SkillpointTaleof2Cities wrote: »UESP had 368 as of Shadows of the Hist.

Also there is only 25 skill points in Alliance War because you only get one per Rank and every rank has 1 and 2
Also worth mentioning:
Total points needed to complete all skill trees: 526 (541 if Vampire, 548 if Waerwolf)
