In WOW you need the latest expansion to touch the end game PvE and PvP or even to reach the new level cap who makes you many times stronger.
Almost all the other players move on and you are stuck in the leveling area.
I think this is pretty standard in MMO.

now that Morrowind is on sale I bring this back.

BGs is suffering from lack of population, it's the same premade teams over and over.

At least have a free weekend to whet the appetite of others who would otherwise not see the value in it.

I own Morrowind, and am of the opinion everyone should. Other games lock you out completely after a new chapter unless you buy it, so having the option to play the game without upgrading should be taken with gratitude.
New players don't even have the option to buy ESO without Morrowind, it is the new chapter after all.

That being said, I would like it if players would be given the option to play Battlegrounds with an active ESO+ membership.
I know it may not be as simple to implement, otherwise, who knows, maybe they would have already enabled BGs for subscribers.

I don't expect them to unlock them for everyone. No way.

Yeah, it's not like there are literally thousands of used copies of the base game available for less than $10 that work just fine still.

I bought morrowind simply because of BGs. I don't care at all about the other content they added behind the DLC, I have literally never once stepped food in vvanderfell.

Other - Since I don't PvP, I really don't care about battlgrounds. I'm loving my Warden.

To me it's not about being cheated. BGs are part of Morrowind. If someone is to cheap, lazy or has their head up some dark hole that they aren't buying Morrowind then it's their choice to not have access to BGs. No real reason for BGs to be made available to the base game.

It's really a great idea for Zos to make BGs part of Morrowind. There are some who don't sub nor by DLCs and of course didn't buy Morrowind. This thread would not have been created if it wasn't the case. Making it part of Morrowind justifies Zos spending the time and money to build BGs and possibly more PvP in the future.

Of course some would vote to have it free since many are ones who don't want to pony up.

Lol. Seriously? The OP sets a he tone in both his opening statements and the biased setup of poll options. It's irrelevant what the OP stated later or how he voted. The "other option sits so well with the 4 other options. That are clearly worded to be biased.

It doesn't take much reasoning to see that though I guess some might be blinded by a desire to have free access to the BGs or not having to pay fir them otherwise.

Regardless, if someone wants to BG they're gonna have to pony up. Clear and simple. It will not be moved to the base game nor sold for crowns. It was a business decision and considering I'm not having to wait for the queue to pop it seems to have played out well.

A lame biased poll is a lame biased poll regardless of what it's about. It hilarious anyone attempts to defend such garbage. Fortunately Zos sees the such a poll is not worth considering for a moment.

I was going to let your ridiculous first post go without responding but after seeing this I have to say you sound like an a-hole. People have pointed out very valid reasons why Battleground should be free or sold separately or included with ESO+ which you just seem to ignore so you can go off on your little rant and feel special. And I didn't buy it not because I was lazy cheap or had my head up my butt like you do but because I don't give a crap about the actual DLC zone or the warden and $40 for a game mode is about as ridiculous as your reasoning.
