no 12 idiots stole my name before I could register it lolWifeaggro13 wrote: »i’ll try to keep this intro short (i have a bad habit of liking to read my own words )…man, i love me some me…
few things got me thinking about this topic:
first @Nestor 's story about how he came by his name – fashioned after a noble and wise characters from a fantasy novel…if I remember correctly though – I believe, Nestor, may not have actually been the name of the character of which he was thinking...the whole story behind it, and, the way he told it was pretty cool and fascinating
second – my own forum/gamer name: geonsocal…it’s supposed to be – geo(rge) living in southern california…being somewhat of a reclusive individual, I was trying to keep things low key, so I just mashed everything together all in lower case – now everyone calls me geon…
i remember the frst time i heard someone call me that in group chat - wait, wtf, who the hell is geon???
thirdly – staring incessantly at @GreenSoup2HoT 's name and knowing there must be some really deep meaning behind it…I mean, why in the world are some letters upper case and some letters lower case – there’s something going on there – i just can’t seem to grasp it…
some of you all amaze me with your depth, creativity and imagination when it comes to picking your monikers...
Please - if you get the chance, i’d love to hear the story behind your forum/gamer name...gracias
I really dont need to explain mine . Needless to say i earned it back in EQ1
wait a minute now - you got 13 wives???

I've also written many short stories about this character. Maybe one day I'll sit down, and write a book.

@Simaris I remember you telling me the origin of the name yeahMy original handle for ESO was WillAfton which was a character I had in Shadowrun who also happened to be a character from Five Nights at Freddy's, on top of that everyone thought it was my real name so was calling me Will. I'm a woman so it got just a bit awkward. I still use the name occasionally.
Simaris is a cephalon from Warframe who has no concept of personal space and is also apparently planning software. But I named myself after the cephalon.

O.M.G..... You took me from 2017 straight back to about 1976. I've heard a lot of KC over the years, but I really don't think I've heard this one since I was a kid!

Ohhhhhhhh
I've been puzzling over this for weeks. The DK experience of... being murdered by a templar?
Never even thought of real-life initials. tsk

I gave you an "awesome", I just want to be absolutely clear that it was aimed at your name and explanation of it, NOT the fact that you can't sleep (as a fellow insomniac, I sympathise!)
