@Someone or whoever can poke the one to fix the infinite loading screens in Cyrodiil

You guys need to sort your *** out, this is too much.

Even with the event on I managed to get into under-50 and play relatively well (260ms) until around 12:30 utc+2 - then lag spikes (600-1500ms) started and I got hit with endless loading screen after endless loading screen, 6 in a row to be exact.

I'm not even going to bother restarting the client again.

Well I've gotten 2 infinite load screen bugs today. Nothing like porting back to hand in a kill player mission and then getting the bug......only to find out that you've been kicked out of Cyrodiil. Oh and the kicker, I'm now #277 in the queue to get back in!! The 4 other ppl I've been playing with today have also experienced this bug that has been around since the game LAUNCHED!!! @ZOS_JessicaFolsom you guys need to fix this s*** already! The massive performance issues and load screen bugs have LITERALLY been around since LAUNCH!!! All I know is that you guys won't be getting any more of my money until this is fixed.

Poor choice of words. I meant login attempts, as in the socket connects, but establishing the session fails, and the client endlessly tries to re-negotiate the session at the application layer.

I wish the client gave more details as to what is actually going on. I've seen other games where you are told if the client is currently trying to connect to the server, to login into the server, or to transfer assets. That would make troubleshooting far easier for everyone (both end-users and ZOS).

I "join these group". Today three times endless loading screens two time losing the connection to server in only 2 hour pvp gaming. I port for example via WS from Fare to Sej and all are froozen and only I can move around until the game kick me back to the log in screen. After login back I got 3 endless loading screens which are always end with the message can't connet to server. Two time i was "happy" that I can go back to pvp. Thrid time it kick me back to pve and I must join the waiting list on position 698. This is so frustating. I have played many other games. But this game is *beep*, *beep* and *beep*. I have reported this bug more than 30 times but I don't see any improvement for this big bug. I have the feeling that all these ingame bugreports are immediately end up in a large trash can.

The fun part is that you get load screen then booted out of the campaign and you have to queue for hours

What a way to kill the fun

I closed my client and went to another activity cause those bug combined with the mid year festival, are more than i can handle for something that is supposed to fit in the leisure category

If you're in a group and one of the people isn't visible to you, you'll get a loading screen when you try to revive/port.

To get rid of the problem where someone in your group is invisible to you, you both have to move a decent distance (20 seconds away on horse) away from each other and then you should be able to see each other again when you come back.

Well took them more than 3 months to even respond to the issue... don't think it will be fixed anytime soon!

Buzz..lockup...crashed three more times last night in about a five hour window. Worthless support e-mails blamed it on the midyear mayhem event. Unbelievable.

Did you mean that you blame it on the event or support itself blamed the event cause that would be hilarious :-D

Everytime I crash, I send an e-mail to their "support". Last night one of the e-mails came back from support saying issues in Cyrodiil are due to the event. Like this never happened prior to the event...lol.

Guys the fix for long loading screens is to NOT be in a group in Cyrodil. It has worked for me

Are you on console or pc? I was on xbox na last night and disconnected three times and had long loading screens twice. I was not in any group. It appears my issues with loading screens appear AFTER I've crashed at least once. I've tried so many different things and I can't figure out how to avoid it.

I'm on PC NA. Never had loading screens in Cyrodil while not in a group

But i did get long loading screens when I was in a group in the beginning of this pvp event

No, PC EU Vivec. Yes, also with groups I run in this issue. therefore I don't join groups.
Now I have this bug especially after losing the connection and try to reenter Cyro or using way shirnes.

Console or pc, I thinks it's safe to say there's work to be done by zos to improve pvp performance. Hopefully the feedback on this thread will guide zos in troubleshooting.

Solo or small group I have no load screen issues. Once group gets over say six people, then it starts being a major issue for me. Idk why.

For the millionth time.. It ALSO happens when you are not grouped.. like I've told a couple of times already.. I'm never grouped.. so all the posts I did in this thread about every loading screen I got was when I was ungrouped.

Please try to be clear in what is happening:

lockup / crash doesn't tell us if:

- your game client crashed? as in windows exception popping up about the program crashing?
- you got kicked to the login screen (ie. what happens when the Cyrodiil zone itself crashes)
- you got an infinite loading screen and have to kill the client yourself (is that what you mean by lockup?)

anyway the thread is mostly about the 2nd and 3rd issue. Only times when I get an actual game client crash is usually when I quit the game after a long playing session and it just fails to properly exit... never (well let's say this year) have I had a game client crash while playing.

Game client crashes would be quite a bit harder to narrow down.. since god knows what people install on their machines, or how hard they overclock their machine making it totally unstable ("but it works fine when I don't touch my machine" kind of people :P).. or which crap the nvidia/amd graphics drivers do behind the game client's back.. or what the local virus scanner is doing behind the game client's back.... in other words.. many many many things can and will influence the game client process. (to be fair.. these could also cause network instability issues which lead to infinite loading screens.. but it's less likely.. but certainly not impossible)

Cyrodiil zone crashes though.. those are completely under ZOS's control.

Would be interesting to know if there's people that run 0 add-ons and experience infinite loading screens.. because I must admit, I run a bunch of add-ons.. so would be nice to be able to rule that out.

Maybe you may want to try setting your graphics to the Lowest you can live with. I run over 15 addons and have now set graphics to low with View distance to highest specifically for this event as the FPS was getting to me.

and and I play with high sttings. I don't think that is a PC issue. These are bugs in the client or in the client - server communication which cause the problem.

I can play PVP in BDO, GW2, STWOR etc without any problem. Onyl this game s....

I too run a high end system skylake 6700k with 16gb ram and gtx980 over a fibre internet connection. Why don't you try Low graphics for some time and see if you still encounter it? Be sure to do it before entering Cyrodil

No do not help to avoid this bug. I have played with "low" and I run again in a endless loading screen. This time after using wayshrine from keep to base camp.
And it looks like to old Daggerfall in this mode
